Even though the regular Bratz Babyz have gone on clearance in retailers, that doesn't really mean they should be neglected by MGA/Bratz. In fact they should get the same amount of attention as the Bratziez keychains. 2026 would have been the perfect opportunity to make Babyz Hair Flair repros and maybe even bring back the rooted hair ones with nylon hair. The fact that the regular Babyz do not sell well is such a shame because they deserve more love because of the nostalgic bratz collectors.

I am interested in making a full deep dive video covering the history of the Bratz Babyz line but I could not find the full detailed history of them besides the fact they were the Bratz just "baby" versions with a blanket, flocked pet, and a bottle chain. The sources don't even cover where the idea for Bratz Babyz came from. Kinda curious to know if MGA wanted to combine the Bratz fashion dolls with the baby doll concept? Plus I kind of also wonder if the Bratz Babyz dolls were made to compete with Kelly dolls from Barbie?
With all the original past versions of Barbie characters Mattel has brought back (original Skipper, original Midge, original Francie, original Ken, original Alan, etc) it's pretty surprising Mattel hasn't even brought back the original Kelly dolls with the OG faces and body mold and such from the 00s. Since Kelly played a big role in the barbie lines from the late 90s/00s this would have been the perfect opportunity to bring her back in her original form considering Mattel's love for nostalgia.
This year in 2026 would have been a perfect opportunity to revive the Bratz Kidz for their 20th anniversary since they debuted back in 2006. Yes I am fully aware they are focusing on the 25th and the Bratziez mostly but I just wish they could one day bring back the Kidz line.

I know last year we got Phoebe and Roxxi babyz repros in the twin pack (never got around to buying that one btw). But the regular Bratz dolls should bring back the twiins packs like the original run because I kinda miss when Bratz used to have a two pack of twin dolls even though I never had them. Besides the y2k aesthetic, diversity, etc including twins in one pack made the brand unique and added variety. They should do two dolls in one pack again for modern play line bratz. Not counting Phoebe and Roxxi or the Karen and Gretchen two pack.
If you don't know grounded videos from Goanimate have been a thing since at least 2013, where a go- animator uses a children's show character (mainly Caillou or Dora) getting in trouble. This includes misbehaving at Chuck E Cheese, getting in trouble at school with results in them getting expelled or suspended, making punishment days, the list goes on. Some users have even added non canon characters like Mrs. Christina, Gina, and Kevin which are not apart of the actual Dora show. I remember watching these videos as a kid. The whole Caillou gets grounded trend/phenomenon started with African Vulture making a video where Caillou called his baby sister stupid. Since then it took the Goanimate community by storm.
But considering the hundreds and thousands of GoAnimate videos made over the past almost twelve years, I'm kinda surprised that Nickelodeon or PBS Kids never copyrighted these grounded videos. I mean if there are more than thousands of grounded videos made of Dora or Caillou, wouldn't Nickelodeon/PBS notice right away. Goanimators did not create Caillou/Dora originally and they are not their original property. Wouldn't Caillou gets grounded and Dora gets grounded be considered unauthorized because of the punishment days videos? because they make these characters troublemakers doing horrible stuff in most videos, which their original counter parts never act. I am also pretty surprised that PBS or Nickelodeon never sent out cease and desist letters to goanimators. I don't know, if anyone knows more about this. Feel free to explain this more to me.

But anyways, back in the original run of the Bratz lines they used to introduce so many new characters and even had lines featuring new original characters that did not include the main four. Nowadays most lines only include the main four and new Bratz characters would probably only be from licensed movies. Yes I know last year they included Roxxi in the Play Sports reimagined/repro line and they are including Fianna and Kumi in the new Sanrio line. I am desperate for them to make a new bratz line introducing new original characters like the original run for brining back the variety into modern Bratz lines. Funny enough I am also desperate for a bratz and a babyz sister pack.

Tbh I kinda still wish MGA/Bratz would still introduce more new original Bratz characters and have their own lines for them (play line wise) because we need more variety in modern Bratz lines besides the core four. I still love my Jade and Cloe but in all honesty we need much more than just the core four.
Considering the amount of Bratziez announced so far (including "Bratziez headz"), I think it is fair to say that they will be going on indefinitely to the point they take over the entire Bratz Babyz line. Maybe they might do Forever Diamondz Bratziez, or Princess Bratziez. I mean what if MGA runs out of ideas for Bratziez in the future, huh? But I really hope they can start adding in the regular Bratz Babyz dolls again, sigh😒
