Hi everyone! I’m new here. My girlfriend and I went to build a bear our first time and she mentioned she had a bear she loved when she younger but hasn’t found it since. She sent me this picture, dated to 2019.

Does anyone know the exactly bear name and if it’s still for sale? I would love to surprise her as she’s been searching for it.

After crushing my fingers a month ago and getting stung by a wasp (which happened a week ago, but I had a delayed reaction and the sting site has progressed into cellulitis), I finally got around to finishing her up. This is my first BAB dye job. Now that I've finally done it, I'm ready and comfortable enough to continue with more.

Please feel free to share your lambs or customs... It will be a nice surprise to distract myself from the antibiotics and itchiness... stupid wasp. 🤕🤬

Surprisingly got both my stuff a cub condo package and my new highland cows today! The only items not pictured are my mom’s highland cows and her monkey bag charm, which is hanging off her walker. I’m glad I was able to get the lobster slushie during a sale, I love him and wanted him cus I have all the other lobsters, but now I know I DEFINITELY don’t need all the slushies! Which is good news for me cus I’m usually very much a completionist when it comes to collecting. Absolutely love the blueberry cow! Have to dig out my strawberry one so I can reunite the family

Hi! I recently went to a Build-A-Bear Workshop in Centurion Mall (South Africa) to have my frog restuffed. It already had stuffing, I just wanted it a bit firmer and more plump.

At first, the employee told me it would cost R60, and since I was already there and really wanted it with more stuffing, I agreed. She added a bit more stuffing (there wasn't much room since it was already fairly full), and when she finished she told me I didn't need to pay after all.

I'm definitely not complaining,I am very really grateful and happy my frog is more stronger. But now I'm curious: is restuffing Build-A-Bears normally free, or does it depend on the country/store?

My $15 kitties FINALLY arrived today. I put weight in their paws and they’re awaiting stuffing til Wednesday. Dying my frog was a bit more complicated than I anticipated😅😅😅I did not use the correct dye the first time. Ended up dying him twice and the second time I added purple to make it even darker/richer in color. He needs a good brushing, but he’s coming with his new siblings on Wednesday to get sewn back up and have a scent added.

I unstuffed him to see if he had anything in him and I'm glad I did because he has a heart and an ID tag that I can use to get him a birth certificate. I think

I Found my boy Giant in storage after a couple of years of him being missing. We were moving around quite a bit and my parents must've put him in a storage container to keep him safe.

My dad and little brother built him for me in 2012 at the San Francisco Giants Stadium back when they still had a BAB there because I was upset that I couldn't go to the game with them.

I was 10 at the time.

He's also still so soft after 14 years.

I rebought my childhood Bab and brought her to Gurnee for a restuff and restitch. Funny enough Gurnee Bab still had a working bathtub but the brush things were missing😂 named this cutie Shelly because I do not remember what I originally named her back in 2010😂

hi! went to bab and built a bear in person for the first time yesterday (sosososo funnn meg in countryside mall if you see this you're the best) and they gave me a $10 gift card for $5 so i wanna get a mini beans!! i really want a full size wolf pup but they're too expensive so can i see some irl pics of the mini beans one? thank you in advance pic of me and my new bear friend for attention<3

Hi all!! I’m new to this community, I’ve always loved BABs. I have my 3 childhood bears with me as well, a birthday bear I made for myself a few years ago, and a Toothless (from pre-covid era, so a LONG time ago) maybe I’ll post about them another time. But for now, here are my two newest ones with a little bit of back story!

Just over a month ago, I made myself a bereavement bear after I had a miscarriage, that we call “Little One.” He’s the Smiley Monkey and he’s been so helpful to hug and snuggle. We were going to just get something like the timeless teddy, but something about that little monkey stole my heart! The employee at my local BAB was so amazing while we built him, because I was crying 😅

After we built our Little One, I couldn’t stop thinking about another bear that we saw. So, earlier this week I decided that I wanted to make a happy, just for me kind of bear and have fun at my local store (instead of breaking down at the stuffer like I did last time lol). I went back and got the capybara! His name is Marv ♥️

So ya, those are my two new ones, Marv and Little One! 😊 I hope you enjoy seeing their cute little faces as much as I do!!
