I can't with Mattel and the flat, mono-tonal pinks and apricots they insist on giving their Black dolls!!

Repainted Looks 21's lips with a mix of browns and reds (using nail art brushes). I didn't remove the factory paint and instead used it as a guide for the repaint. For now I'm enjoying the 1990s matte finish, but I may add a coat of satin varnish... will see how I feel later today!

I also upgraded her blush and contouring with a bit of powdered pastel, and gave her a beauty spot. Obsessed with how she turned out!!

i think she turned out beautiful!

Anyone else have one of these closets? I organize everything then I pick it up to put away and everything shifts and move inside. Then I go to open it again and everything falls out. Is there a way to make stuff stay on shelves? Or better organization/storage systems?

I found this Barbie Extra girlie whilst thrifting. She wears a Barbie and Ken date playset blouse, a Hermoine doll skirt, lolomg leggings i cut into pop socks, and some fashion fever boots. Her hair took forever to get silky smooth, and i had to cut around an inch off! I used nail varnish remover to take the stars off of her face (i would have kept them if they were freckles, but I couldn't get the image of pimple patches out of my head).

What do you guys think? Should I have layered her hair?

Have you ever looked for a fashion pack at a decent price and finally found it lol. These older fashion packs just hit different lol. I have been wanting the long boho dress forever...got both packs for $23 so pretty happy. Gonna pair it with the mini brands brown fringe bag and brown boots when I get it.

So question, what older fashion packs (roughly 2016 to 2020) do you recommend that really impressed you? Thanks.
