Is $469 a fair price?

I’ve wanted this United Colors of Benetton Teresa for so long. Is $469 a fair price, or should I wait for a better deal?

Can anyone identify this Barbie house?

Not a collector. This was mine as a child and I was born in 1988. Only markings on it say Mattel, Inc 1990 ARCO. I have driven myself crazy trying to figure this out. I have no box or instructions and Google has failed me. Hoping someone has knowledge I can’t find.

Mattel Tutti doll. What are these spots? You can get rid of these stains?

I saw such dolls on sale, but they are all stained.

Can these spots be removed? The seller says no.

Looking for Info on This life-size Barbie

I picked up this 1999 life-size doll from a consignor. She is wearing a denim dress and what appear to be Birkenstock sandals. She is approximately 36 inches tall I think. I couldn't find one in a similar outfit. Any info would be appreciated.

Has anyone reused hair from one doll to reroot on another?

I got this Dream Besties Brooklyn this morning for about $10 at Walmart. I mostly got it for her cute little outfit but I really love her hair and would love to use her hair on perhaps another regular/standard size Brooklyn doll. Has anyone ever done this? I have only rerooted with very long hair that I fold in half and then cut, so I’m nervous about how to reroot with hair this short - and I’d want to keep the length as much as I can

Teen Skipper Group Shot

✨✨ The Important Stuff ✨✨

2012 University of Alabama Barbie #W3521

2000 Pajama Fun Nikki #24993

2000 Pajama Fun Skipper #24592

2010 | can be... Bride Set Target Exclusive #T3841

All rerooted, rebodied, and restyled.

✨✨ My Nonsense ✨✨

Since I ended my Teen Skipper project at the end of February, those dolls have remained dressed as they were for their shoot because I planned on trying a group shot after some time away from them.

I actually keep all of the dolls I photograph dressed as they were for their shoot while I work on the next several projects before returning the clothes to my wardrobe. This way, I don’t use the same clothes and accessories over and over.

It’s usually fine, and I actually enjoy the challenge it inherently provides, but this was a really big project. For the past six months, 26 of my favorite dolls have been wearing a lot of my favorite pieces, and it has left my styling options feeling limited.

After having taken a group shot of 20 dolls for the Basics Neutrals line, and knowing what a headache it was to organize it all, I decided to split the Skippers up into groups.

At first, I was worried about how I would decide which dolls get grouped, but when I looked at them all together, I was struck by the realization that I had essentially styled these dolls like they were meant to form little groups. Either that or I am seriously a one-trick pony, but I’m trying to be kind to myself.

I’m really happy with how the group shots turned out and how the girls look in their mini connect collections and I’m even happier that now I can take them all apart and redistribute their clothes so I don’t feel like I’m trying to style with one hand tied behind my back.

Help identifying Teresa

Been googling and asking AI for about an hour now. Can’t find one that matches exactly. Mostly due to the jewelry I that she doesn’t have bangs.
Details:
Slightly crimped hair. Wants to go at least half up naturally. Faceted stud silver earrings and ring
Brown eyes
Light makeup
NO bangs.
1990 head mold
1966 Indonesia on back.
Knees bend with 2 clicks.
Thanks! I’m going crazy!

Help me pick the best outfit for my lovely Tango

She is definitely my favourite one from the lot. I’ve had the most amount of work with her hair, trying to straighten it and then making all those braids (it only took me three episodes of House of the Dragon 😅). I have this Tango on a curvy body and second on a athletic and I like to keep them this way at the end of the day (last two pictures). I can’t decide the outfit for my braided curvy Tango though. Help me decide!

First: Borrowed from Barbie Extra 20 Levander. She didn’t mind.

Second: Beige meets rainbow, elegant yet funky.

Third: All about Barbie Basics. Is it an overall? It is not but it might look it.

All: Braids are the star!

Which one out of these three do you like the most?

Crocheted 4th of July Outfits

A day late, but I crocheted July 4th outfits for a few of my Barbies.

Fashionista 245 is wearing a swimsuit with shorts. The pieces are two separate patterns available for free online. I shared the bandana in this sub before, but it's just a half-granny with chains. I also showed Christie in the outfit. I think that the top fits Christie better, but the shorts are too wide at the waist. I was able to cinch them in with a fanny pack.

Christie is wearing an outfit inspired by a dress I saw on Pinterest. The top is a combination of three patterns. The skirt is something I made up. This outfit didn't turn out quite how I wanted, but it was a fun experiment.

My MTM redhead is wearing the project I found the most fun. I found a ruffle cowgirl outfit designed for a 90s Barbie. I used a portion of a pattern designed for curvy Barbie for the bust then added the ruffles from the other pattern. The pants were actually shorts from a pattern and then I figured out the pant legs myself, ending with the ruffle. The accessories aren't crochet; just playing around with some string.

Cosplaying Fashionista 185 as Delores.

I don't know why, but Fashionista 185 always gives me Enchanto Fangirl Vibes, so I switched out 185's original outfit for the Disney Store Delores Dress.

Fun fact: most Disney Doll Dresses fit Barbie.

Happy Family!

I completely forgot I had her until I found her on one of my shelves today. I bought her on eBay about 5–6 years ago. At the time, I didn’t have any children, and I just thought she was such a unique doll. Now I’m a mom of two, and seeing her again gives me a whole new appreciation for this doll. ❤️ I’ve always loved Barbie, but redheaded Midge has always been one of my favorites. Hopefully I’ll add Alan to the collection one day!

Asha in two cute dresses

2022 Dreamtopia mermaid HGR06 rebodied on a Brooklyn Great Horse Chase body. In the first few pics she wears a budget Barbie dress; in the remainder she wears a dress I bought at a flea market.

Asha face:

https://fashiondollz.de/1990-asha-face-aa/

Very nice soft hair, pixelated face but it still appears quite clear.

I’ve never actually seen the made to move basketball player in my country - this version of Asha is good enough for me. In terms of rebodying, I prefer pointed toes for high heels but I’ll deal with it for now.

She looks really girlish - young, fresh and cute. I’d like to experiment with makeup later when I’m more comfortable with repainting.

Barbie display

I finally have a place to display my Barbies and it’s making me so happy! The collection is mostly a combined thrifting effort by my mom and myself. The top row has dolls my mom has had for probably 20 years that she recently gave to me.
