Aside from China Anne McClain, which Disney Channel star absolutely owned a specific holiday or musical era?

We all know Mariah Carey owns Christmas, and seeing everyone agree that China Anne McClain completely owns Halloween because of her Descendants tracks got me thinking about how much incredible music came out of this era.

Disney Channel used to regularly drop seasonal bops, music videos, and full-blown crossover cast tracks that had no business going as hard as they did.

Who is your ultimate Disney Channel music icon for a specific holiday, season, or era? Are we giving it to Ashley Tisdale, Demi Lovato, or maybe the entire cast of Lemonade Mouth for owning our summer playlists? Let’s talk about the absolute best musical eras on the network!

In response to the recent news

Yeah Suite Life and the DCOMs coming back to the schedule is cool and all, but if they rerun some of those obscure 2000s cartoons of theirs, THATS when they’ll have my full undivided attention lmao

How popular and well-known is Jesse McCartney?

How popular and well-known is Jesse McCartney? He had several hits from around 2004 to 2008, but his career slowed down afterward. Even so, he still performs live and has a solid legacy from his earlier success. Would you say his current level of popularity and public recognition is roughly comparable to people like Bella Thorne or Dylan Sprouse?

He Ain’t A Hottie, He’s My Brother.

I found this Hannah Montana episode hilarious where Miley had a really weird dream where “Lilly had a crush on Jackson and he liked her back. Then Miley tried to stop it and Lilly screamed and cried, and Jackson was upset.” When they don’t like each other in real life.

Our beloved voice actor Tom Kane has passed away at 64

It's really sad for all the voices out there that Tom has passed away at 64. He have been recently retired 5 years ago due to a stroke that was affected on his body. He was voicing various characters in his career since. He may not be the greatest VA, but he was a legend after all. RIP Tom.

Am I the only one that finds it weird that Disney doesn't acknowledge this show for a long time, then they post 2 episodes on YT and still don't put it on Disney+

Would you Still count Phineas and Ferb as a Disney Channel Original even though it had the rest of it's run on Disney XD?

I had this in the back of my mind for a while. I know it started off as a Disney Channel show, but it has the Disney XD feel to it because from 2009 onwards, Disney XD started to air it a lot and I know it's still copyrighted by Disney Channel during the end credits but it feels like a XD show.

I think I understand why Raven Symone's music career never took off

Some people mention it's because her songs weren't as catchy and while I do agree that's one of the reasons, I also think it's because her music sounded to grown. And I don't mean in the sense that her music was inappropriate or too sexual. Her music was always family friendly, but it was different compared to the bubble gum pop that the other Disney artists were singing. Her last studio album was mostly R&B, and the theme of her songs were about rejecting relationships, working a 9-to-5 job and seeing who your friends are. Other Disney artists were singing about relationships, friendships, make ups, break ups, hating school, wanting to be famous, going to the mall, and being on top of the world. Not to mention that Hollywood Records has had a horrible track record of promoting women of color such as Chyna and Coco Jones.

Aww! Look at Our Future Cheetah Girls!

These were taken at Taylor Cora's (Wizards Beyond Waverly Place) Sweet 16 Party Yesterday. Leah & Brooklyn had on matching Cheetah Print heels.. hmm could this be a coincidence or a maybe soft launch?

TV shows with most adaptations worldwide

We all know that when TV shows are hits in their home country (mostly British and American ones) they often get so many international adaptations, especially game shows, reality shows and even scripted ones. The most famous examples are Pop Idol, Britain's Got Talent, The Price Is Right, Family Fortunes/Feud, Wheel of Fortune, Sasuke, or Fort Boyard for game and reality shows. Top Gear or Pimp My Ride for motoring shows, or Yo Soy Betty La Fea as well as some Disney and Nickelodeon live-action shows for scripted series. Can you name other examples?
