After the Writers and Actors strikes in 2023, Disney Channel made a decision to end all of their current live-action shows, including giving Bunk'd a series finale in 2024 after its 9 year/7 season run on the channel.

It seems like their plan was to start with a fresh line-up of live-action shows.

First show we got was: Wizards Beyond Waverly Place in Fall 2024, which was a continuation of the beloved Wizards of Waverly Place.

In 2025, we got two more live-action shows, Electric Bloom & Vampirina: Teenage Vampire.

However, Electric Bloom got cancelled before Season 2. Wizards Beyond Waverly Place got a four episode Season 3 to wrap up the series. Vampirina: Teenage Vampire was renewed for a Season 2, according to Production Weekly. However, it is very telling that it have 4 months since that renewal & we have not heard absolutely nothing about Season 2. It's not a promising sign.

I am sure viewership overall for all three of these shows were not amazing, but I feel Disney probably knew they were not going to do amazing. I wish they allowed these shows to exist longer. I enjoyed all three of them.

Do not worry, The Mickey Mouse Club is coming back, and it will likely be cancelled after just one season.

In Season 2, Roman sent to Quentin to the Nowhere Zone. Do we know if he got out of the Nowhere Zone or is he just stuck there?

I feel 2026 is her year for Disney.

I did not particularly care for her character, Emmy, in High School School: The Musical The Series. She did a great job singing "This is Me".

She was good in Descendants: Wicked Wonderland as Pink, but I am really excited for her in Camp Rock 3. It looks like she is going to kill it in that film. She is a very talented singer, and it seems like she is improving as an actress.

Kylie Cantrall recently discussed that she believes her name as Red is almost over.

How do you all feel about this?

In 2024, Disney bought back the Descendants franchise with The Rise of Red. We just had Wicked Wonderland release. Which movie do you prefer?

I think most people here agrees Raven Symone deserves to be a Disney Legends, just like how Miley Cyrus got one in 2024 after her Grammy and how the Jonas Brothers are getting one in 2026.

I think 2028 will be the year she gets one.

Is anyone here excited for Descendants: Wicked Wonderland? I feel it have not been discussed too much recently in this Reddit.

I am hoping it is good. I was fairly disappointed overall with Descendants: The Rise of Red. There was good elements of that film, but pacing was bad, plotholes, soundtrack was weaker for the most part, and the ending was pretty abrupt.

The show popped up on Production Weekly on April 8th, but no renewal announcement from Disney Channel yet.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place was on Production Weekly on March 12th, 2026 and got a four episode final season announcement on April 2, 2026.

It have been nearly two months since Vampirina first pop up on Production Weekly. It is very possible that it is still getting a season 2. However, I am very skeptical given how quiet Disney Channel have been about the show.

I really would like to see Phineas & Ferb have a crossover with Kim Possible.

I used a regular Gmail account. I have been having an issue of my emails to individuals going to their spam. Is there a free way to fix this?

In the modern age, podcasts and audiobooks are extremely common mediums that people listen to while driving.

We know many leaders do not do their position specific training due to saying they do not have time for it. I think it would be cool to adapt the trainings into a podcast/audio medium.

I am in California for a vacation, and I saw the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the first time. (This is different than the Disney Legends debate, because it is related to the actors overall impact in Hollywood.)

I noticed the lack of Disney Channel stars who received the honor.

Zac Efron and The Jonas Brothers got one. Miley Cyrus is finally getting one in a few weeks from now.

I was surprised to learn Selena Gomez never got one, considering her impact in Hollywood. Zendaya not having one is surprising. I think in a few years from now that Jenna Ortega will have one.

What other major stars from Disney Channel that broke into mainstream Hollywood are you surprised do not have one yet?
