Any nostalgia or memories of that iconic era?
One of the things that I wanted to see is to get sprint variants for Area 51, and Transylvania for the Championship events, Sprit Tournament events , R&D events, and Motor Blitz. But for some reason, we didn’t get those tracks after Patagonia. Which is a shame because I wanted to see how the opening to those tracks would look like. What’s the reason that Area 51 and Transylvania didn’t get sprint variants and why?
I just watched it and let me tell you, this Pokemon anime is going to change the landscape of the anime boom in America forever.
As a Gen Z myself, this take is really funny and hypocritical in many ways. I remember back in 2020, that we did TikTok dances to preschool show songs like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Hip-Hop Harry, and The Backyardigans, the shows that we watched as little kids and probably still watch them. So it’s funny for Gen Z saying that watching Disney Channel after middle school is “cringe”, when they were making TikTok videos of them dancing to songs from preschool shows that they watch when they were little.
San Franstokyo (Big Hero 6)- a blend of San Francisco and Tokyo.
Gravity Falls, Oregon (Gravity Falls)- the pun because gravity is the force of why things fall, which sets up the town’s supernatural defying the laws of physics.
Monstropolis (Monster Inc)- a combination of the words “monster” and “metropolis”.
Bedrock (The Flintstones)
Bikini Botton (SpongeBob SquarePants)
Supposed if the Pokemon anime was never released in the US in 1998, how would the 90s anime boom in America be like without Pokemon?
