One of the late great Val Kilmer's best thriller performances! Iceman!!
From Today Show when he was there promoting Breadwinner opening next week.
I think that the SNL cast is like a pyramid. For example, people like Colin Jost, Michael Che or Kenan Thompson are the ones in the top of the pyramid. They’ve been there for ages. I don’t expect them to be in a game video to promote the show.
In the bottom I think that there are cast members like Ben Marshall who recently got promoted. I don’t expect him to be in these videos either because he basically just joined as an actual cast member.
I know the concept of “repertory players” and “featured players”, but for example, Andrew Dismukes is in the repertory crew but is never part of the videos when Jane and Ashley are.
SNL really promotes Marcello too, so it’s weird that he’s also not here.
(Not complaining, just an observation).
I have been thinking about this for days! He actually had no clue what was happening but still decided he was going to go through with it LIVE for the show… that’s crazyyyyy
I remembered finding the Robert Goulet sketches hilarious as a kid. I pulled one up to show my husband and was not prepared to hear Will Ferrel yelling the N word at me like I owed him money.
I guess they’re leaning into it now with this compilation upload.
I was hoping that Lorne might have threatened their jobs.
I guess it's for the Netflix show, "Roommates?"
I know wally sells personalised cue cards. But I feel like there’s a market (amongst nerdy SNL fans like me) for ‘match worn’ cue cards. If they auctioned them off after the show I feel like people would buy them. Infact they could even have an after market value like trading cards, if a sketch got big, like David S Pumpkins - the card with the punchline on it could be worth more.
What actually happens to show used cards? Are they reused? Recycled (hopefully) ? Or in a dumpster behind 30 rock?
Just got me thinking, Cast List was a cut for time sketch and last weekend they did a sequel to it. I have to imagine that might be the first time they’ve ever done that - any other examples?
Still can’t believe she’s the first Canadian cast member since Norm left.
Cher was the musical guest twice
1305 (Candice Bergen)
5109 (Ariana Grande)
While she never hosted herself, she did appear when Moonstruck costar Nicolas Cage hosted (1801 m.g. Bobby Brown) and hosted her own variety show on CBS at myriad times 1971-77, sometimes with her (ex-)husband Sonny Bono
