Matthew Rhys from Widow's Bay played George Carlin on SNL movie and no one told me

Am I the only one who didn't know about this? I watched that movie several times. I watched it again today (and I finished Widow's bay last week) and I was like...this guy looks familiar and yeah....it's my mayor Tom Loftis! I mean, Matthew Rhys. This is another reason why he should host SNL

Governor Brown cuts the ribbon in Palm Springs California in 1963 for the Palm Springs aerial tramway. This is where you could have a view of the beautiful mount San Jacininto mountain 🏞️Forest. Guest famously paid $1,000 each for a ride on the longest single tramway in the world at the time.

Gene Autry and Art Linkletter were just a few of the celebrities that rode.

Peggy, you didn’t give any clues. 😕 Ohh, you’re full of bananas. 🍌😆You didn’t—and I am not full of bananas. 😠

Why didn't Robin Williams host after the 80s, especially during his 90s heyday?

He hosted three times (1984, 86, 88); after that, aside from an appearance in 2010 during a What Up with That? sketch, he never did another gig. It seems that he was probably too busy or whatnot. Just imagine a sketch with him and either Farley or Sandler (or with both)

Who should have hosted in the 70s?

This is a variant of the "who should host season 52" posts. In this one, we pick who would have been a good host for the 75-80 era (you can include people who hosted later). Here's some of my picks:

Carol O'Connor

Mel Brooks

Gabe Kaplan

Sylvester Stallone (hosted later)

Olivia Newton-John (hosted later)

Alice Cooper

any other suggestions (i'm planning on doing this for the 80s-2010s as well)?

Of the Avengers: Doomsday cast, who would you want to host SNL in December as promo for that movie?

Paul Rudd, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Channing Tatum, Simi Liu, Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McClellan, Kelsey Grammer and Alan Cumming have all hosted before.
RDJ was a cast member and hosted before.

Florence Pugh, James Marsden, Anthony Mackie,Chris Evans and Tom Hiddleston would also be great

Also, since Dune is releasing the same time, Chalamet is more than likely going to be hosting so that’ll be fun.

This is gonna sound weirdly thirsty, but I want Colin Jost to crush my head with his biceps

If only I had a picture of him without a suit on to prove my point, but you guys know what I mean.

Inde Navarrette to host this season’s premiere?

Since everybody is talking about the movie and her performance these mid parts of the year, I feel like it makes sense for her to host the premiere. I know Obsession came out just before the finale but I feel like the hype of the movie is a good way to promote.

How many married couples have hosted SNL?!

With Travis and Taylor getting married… what are the other notable married couples who have hosted?

who do you want to see join the snl cast next season?

I personally would love to see liv pearsall join snl. she has already uploaded snl-type sketches and even did a weekend update when snl was on summer break. she's funny and nonproblematic (so far). the only problem is that we already have a tall genz white blonde girl (veronika) so it would be awkward if both are part of the cast at the same time.

I would also love to see somebody from smosh be on snl, maybe angela, chance or arasha!
