Not doing an emergency pod is the most cowardly move of Bill Simmons's career

Assuming he is not contractually allowed to go on with his Netflix contract (which makes absolutely no sense),

Bill let his fandom get in the way of history. He is a 62 year old man-child who can't handle when his favoirte team made a bad move. Grow the fuck up nepo Kimmel hire.

other than the Luka trade, this is the worst trade in modern day NBA history and yet we did not get his honest and authentic reaction to it in real time

Why? Because he is a Celtics fan.

Pretty fucking pathetic.

Franchise mode is soul crushing

Played 162 games, made it to the World Series, was up 2-0 (won both games away) and lost in game 7 3-1 against the PITCHER I TRADED AWAY MID SEASON.

Made me not want to play Franchise mode EVER again putting in all those hours honestly.

Not sure why else i'm posting it, but luckily NCAA Football is released tomorrow and don't see myself playing MLB the Show again for a very long time. So painful.

I also now see why people don't play that many games, because investing and getting all the way to game 7 sucks.

Survivor 50's Jonathan and Dee heavily speculated to be competing on Big Brother's reality bonanza season

These are ALL RUMORS

but the host of Big Brother and reporters confirmed multiple reality stars along with BB legends will be returning to compete on next seasons' Big Brother along with newbies.

The 2 names most mentioned are Jonathan and Dee both who recently turned off their cameos and fit the demographic for BB.

It would be interesting to see both on though not the biggest Jonathan fan but we will get to see firsthand how he competes with live feeds and his social game

If Maria votes for Charlie to win, how does her legacy change?

Is her edit different? I'd argue her chances of getting back on S50 are better if she does vote for Charlie and she probably is seen as a much better strategic player in the long run.

[Men's Health] Ben Simmons on why he passed the ball in game 7: "I wasn’t hitting my shit, so mother____, you knock it down! I just gave it to somebody who was shooting a higher percentage free throw at the time. So what is the difference? How about he should’ve made the f____ free throws?"

[McMenamin] While James is committed to returning for a 24th season, he has not made any decision as to whether that will be his final season in the NBA, the source said.

From Dave McMenamin, I doubt Lebron is retiring next season IF the Warriors or whoever are contending

Derrick made a huge mistake in Traitors S3

If Derrick had just waited 1 or 2 rounds in Traitors S3 targeting Boston Rob.. I think he ends up winning either along or instead of Dolores and Gaby at the end!

Boston Rob had no intention of taking out Derrick, and yet Derrick wanted to be "the guy" to take out the Traitor.. who wasn't even the main traitor towards the end who was actually Danielle

I suspect Derrick knew this the entire time, but was just looking for airtime!

Dumb move by Derrick!

Two Hommes

Is it worth the hype? It's a little out of the way, but if the flavors are that memorable and good I'd be willing to try it, or if is the best soul food fusion in LA definitely.

I don't mind price, but more just it's a slight hassle going all the way there to eat.

I plan now on going SO, can people please give me recommendations of things to get?

Do these products combine well together?

I've already been using the Allies of Skin GF serum and really enjoyed it.

From recommendations here, I bought the Advanced TNS serum and the Natura Bisse extreme cream... I have yet to try either of these. In terms of a routine, do these work well together? Or is it counterproductive to use these at same time in my routine?

So we all agree Coach's gameplay legacy took a hit during S50, right?

One could argue after his last appearance on South Pacific, he was sorta a "robbed" finalist where had he owned up to his lack of integrity and lying may have gotten another vote or two. He led strongly, he ran the tribe, and was the key decision maker in every vote off. His play to flip Cochran was an all timer.

I feel like Coach is one of the only returning players on an all stars season who CLEARLY took a step back in their game. Most people like a Rob or Parvati improve each time they play.

Coach was more paranoid, more dominating, more in his head than ever before... and that's with nearly the entire cast wanting to work with him preseason!

And with a shorter season (which many OG contestants say is in fact easier) it appears he lost his mind even more. Had he come in more foucsed like South Pacific, I actually think he could've been in a better shot to make it to the finale.

I don't think anyone else from S50 took a gameplay hit (Ozzy was never a serious strategic player) besides Coach. Entertaining? Yes. But it's one of the only times I see someone getting worse the more they play Survivor. If he ever comes back a 5th time, I do think he's just playing into his schtick and will not at all be taken seriously.

Love him as a character, but I've never agreed more with what Russell remarked during S20, "Everyone knows, Coach is a big joke!"

survivor 50 already aging poorly

I watched it again and really it does not hold up very well. Reminds me a lot of S40 (another not as good season) where it's just too many twists/things that take away from the gameplay and contestants.

It says a lot that people like Cirie, Colby, Coach, Jenna are the main standouts.. because they've always been their authentic selves and characters. A lot of people just come across gamebotty.

This is just not a season I see myself watching all the way through. I'd even say Game Changers holds up better since it is primarily character based and we're getting people's stories a lot clearer. This is a bottom tier returnee season which is crazy given the potentail it had.

How would Francesca have done if she was on S50?

She declined to be considered for S50... but given this cast I think she would've done better than expected. As long as she didn't over pregame like Jenna Lewis (which is what I think she did in caramoan), I see Francesca possibly making a deep run like Tiffany or Aubry giver her UTR strategy1

HYBE stonewalling the Manon exit is effective but also extremely evil

They've basically tried to "run out the clock" on Manon's exit by having this period go on for SOO long that people just get used to the idea of Katseye without Manon. At some point (my guess is end of the year) they'll announce she's officially out the band knowing full well this was always the case ever sine her "hiatus".

While effective for fan desensitization, it's extremely gross and manipulative to the fans. One, spending all that time hoping and wishing Manon would return. And two, manipulating audiences to no longer even see Manon as part of Katseye while keeping the golden carrot in front of their noses that she "might" return

Have NEVER seen a KPop-adjacent group be dealt like that. There is usually a level of integrity and fan to band trust that what they say is "true". This is not the case.

Alas, Warners had scheduled a Jonah Hill–Kristen Wiig comedy, Cut Off, for July 17, but that movie is said to be unreleasable and is now not scheduled.

from Matthew Belloni and the Town newsletter

On WB seeing ‘Cut Off’ as a unreleasable film:

"Warners’ Mike and Pam reality check: Assuming the poorly received Supergirl underperforms this weekend (see prediction below), the timing isn’t great for James Gunn and Peter Safran, whose post-merger future running DC will likely soon be decided by David Ellison and the Paramount crew. It also highlights vulnerabilities in the overall Warner Bros. slate.

Alas, Warners had scheduled a Jonah Hill–Kristen Wiig comedy, Cut Off, for July 17, but that movie is said to be unreleasable and is now not scheduled. Animal Friends, a Ryan Reynolds–Jason Momoa R-rated animation/live-action hybrid from Legendary, has been delayed a ton and was recently pushed from June to January.

Can someone explain free agency/arbitration to me?

Im playing as the Mets and have a VERY expensive team, including David Peterson expiring this year (Already resigned Freddy Peralta). When I offered him a deal (the screen is gone now as it's almost September) it said my max offer was about 10 million away.

My question is.. I want to keep a few guys who are up for arbitration. Does this mean I ONLY have about 10 million (plus David's contract) to work with in terms of arbitration? Or does arbitration even if it not ruled in my favoir let me go over the cap?

Also does my cap increase at all for the start of Free Agency or do I really only have (10 milloin away) left to spend in Free agency which sounds crazy? And does arbitration affect this? If arbitration does affect this, I don't see how I'll have any money to spend on free agents.

Also one last question, if I trade an expensive player away during the offseason, does the new cap automatically change and I'll have a lot more budget to play with? Or is there a delay?

Thank you for all the help with any if not all the questions.
