Maybe The Worst Community In Gaming

And I play League of Legends, so that's saying something. I recently made a PG. I'm not the greatest dribbler, but I *do* have good pass vision, and I have zero problems letting the SG or SF run the offense if I lose adrenaline early or am getting pressed pretty hard full court. Yesterday, I was 100% shooting on 4 attempts, and the rest of my team had 4, 2, 3, 6 attempts. No one else was 100%, and I had 6 assists a minute or two into the second quarter.

I got iced the entire rest of the game because "you suck bro, you can't dribble for shit, you ain't getting the ball no more". I didn't touch the ball again except on steals. I had 0 turnovers. Like yeah I didn't left-right left-right Michael Jackson moonwalk but I was efficient and facilitating. Wtf is this community's problem?

I got less shit from these people on my Center with 78 3ball when I first went into the rec with 18% from the 3 giving up 10 dunks a game (I've since fixed those problems, don't worry), than I do on my PG playing just fine.

Is there anyway we can play better Defense? 🤣😭

What's up y'all So I got to say I don't get to play that much, but when I do I actually enjoy it even though I keep my game chat completely off the whole time lol (I need my peace) I'm by any means not super great at the game, but I'm pretty decent and I thought I played decent defense, Because my matchup always quits by a second quarter. But this morning was playing against another crew My matchup was a Vet2 averaging 26 points a game shooting 80% from 3, had 90 plus damn near every attribute lol. So I was like Oh hell yeah let's go... I was focused I was determined on just stopping him 😖😭..

I could not stop him! Even though I was clamp down hands in his face getting 30% contest, bro was cooking my ass like barbecue chicken 😞, He did miss a few shots, but it was to the point where I was ready to quit because I felt bad for my teammates, but I stayed because when they try to switch up on him Oh man it wasn't even a match up He was breaking their ankles running right past them so at least they got a little bit of a taste of what I was dealing with. I have a 90 PD, So then I got mad and decide to be vintage KD, and just started cooking him too, he has a 92 PD and literally could not stop me ( again I'm not that great at the game)

We ended up losing by 7, but the final stats were,

He had 31 pts, 12/18 7/11 3pt

I had 34 pts ,11/12 4/4 3pt

Our PD and gold challengers literally meant nothing. Anyone have any tips or that's just what it is lol, I think we both are playing some good defense Oh wait not to mention he had 8 steals lol, Because whatever they did to the behind the back, every time someone tried to go behind a back they got bumped in the ball just went loose 🤣

What the F is 2k doing

Every game for the last 3 hours has been this shit.

All but 1 or 2 non AI for the last 3 hours in Rec. Stats aren't counting and my level progress isn't either.

Feedback on LeBron inspired build

Build specialization is shooting, hence the +2 on mid range. Haven’t tried a 6’9” build yet and was thinking of trying something like this. I’m not a good iso dribbler (play mostly spot up bigs) so I don’t know if 80 ball handle is enough to work with. Once I hit level 40 this season, the cap breaker would go to perimeter defense.

Any perspectives or feedback?

Why does everyone whine so much

Feel like everyday i see a “finally quitting 2k” post with a whole book written like it’s a break up text. I get the game has problems but if u don’t wanna play anymore no need to announce it to the world. These are prolly the ppl who quit 2 mins in anyway

I can’t wait to hit Vet 2 and stop playing this game for good

I like 2K and will always have love for it but man I’m 22 been playing NBA2K since 2K13 and ngl I think it’s about time to officially quit like literally stop grinding, no more making over 3 or more builds (usually make 10+ builds to keep the game interesting or else imma be bored), I just don’t have it in me anymore to keep playing after years after years, all of my friends been stop playing 2K lol. As I/we grow older theres going to always be different things to do in life.

p.s - I’ll still buy 2K every years, I love the game of basketball but I won’t be grinding anymore. Thank You 2K, time to move onto something different.

Uncut. All 53 shot attempts taken by our team.

This is while being out of sync on backdoor cut opportunities out of the mid post. We won by 19.

How many cap breakers?

I just started playing 2k a week ago. Currently rocking a 6’10 pro tuned build, but I plan on building a 6’8” all around build soon off of a video. Im gonna build around the cap breakers. I specialized in shooting and I plan on doing it again.

At the moment im waiting on my crew to hit level 30. Last season I wasn’t able to get more than a couple levels because I started at the end, but I will definitely hit 40 this season.

When I hit 40 this season and my crew is 30, how many cap breakers will I have access to?

Fun at a low overall build?

Hey all,

Friend group recently got into 2k. I haven’t really played a 2k since 2k20 and I wanted to know if there’s any builds out there that are fun at low levels? I’m not very good at the game and I only plan on playing this game with my friends, not grinding by myself. So I don’t really plan on being much of a high overall with crazy badges.

I originally made a crappy 3 level scorer build that’s essentially just Joe Harris, but it’s boring in a way. It’s fun to hit 3’s but I’m as quick as a snail in cement, very weak, not tall, it’s just not very fun.

Any suggestions if at all would be great.

why is there No Michael Jordan escape/bhb/stepback?

I love that they added many dribble moves for role players. But why are there no sigs for mj? Is it because he is not active anymore? But at the same time all the Jumpshots are in the game. I feel robbed of some potentially cool sigs
