I don’t think it’s that serious, people are making such a big deal. I understand that it may not be her best suit, but I notice ppl started becoming a bit obsessive over it now. It’s to the point that almost every time she’s posted, no matter how beautiful and gorgeous she looks in a picture/vid or on any post in general (even if it’s positive ) people can’t compliment normally. I don’t think it needs to be need to be mentioned every single time

It’s literally just experimenting. People are acting like the girl shaved them off completely and went bald. It’s never that deep or serious lol. It’s just bleached. And If I’m not mistaken, katseye bleached their brows for that allure photoshoot, but Dani just decided to keep them longer.

I’m not defending the bleached brow look. I dislike them as much as the next person. To be fair I don’t like bleached brows on anybody though. I saw someone one time actually made a great point that it gives uncanny valley. That was a pretty good perspective and helped me understand better why it’s so off putting. I just think they make you look alien like and stupid. I honestly just prefer a late 90s/early 2000s ultra thin type brow or even a slit brow.

But I gotta be honest, I’ve seen some crazy comments and even the tone in which ppl use towards Dani, has started to come off as bullying tbh. Don’t get me wrong a few are funny (ex. Dani’s eyebrows went on hiatus 😂), but some are just outright mean spirited, dramatic and childish even a bit of slut shaming.

Daniela strikes me as someone who likes to experimenting. She shared on a solo article interview, that she might want to do a skinny brow next or grow them really thick. She is a 22 year old young woman, she’s at age group where it’s common to be experimental with finding your style, beauty, fashion even music. Especially with her being in the industry. I think people can be a little more gentler and kinder and respectful with the opinions and disapproval. It’s okay if you don’t like something, but like our mothers/grandmothers would always say, and we learned in kindergarten and elementary school, if you have nothing nice to say don’t say it.

These will likely be temporary. When shes 25, late 20s/30 she will probably have a whole different style. Adela had bleached brows and got rid of them. Megan expressed on a live stream, that she got tired of her bangs from last year 2025 as well as the pink highlights and heavier dark makeup. Now I notice she tends to keep a more natural light makeup look, and shorter length hair. She also shared that she’s more of a low maintenance type of girl. I experimented with blonde hair a few years ago, I had 50/50 opinions from my family and friends, some admired it, some weren’t feeling it. I personally enjoyed it but later then I realized it wasn’t my color, and plus it severely damaged and dried my curls out. It was such a nightmare lol. So i guess you live and you learn 🤷‍♀️

Let young people experiment and find their styles. I’ve seen women in their 30s, 40s, 50s+ look back at their fashion choices and sometimes they either regret and laugh at themselves, or reminisce on their teenage/20s self. Like “what was I thinking”. Even if they’re still fashionable, they just keep it more minimialist or modest. Celebs like Ariana grande, Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, Demi Lovato, Adrienne Bailon (she’s 43 and dresses completely different than when she was as recent in her 30s) etc. None of them dress the same as they did when they were younger.

There were these hideous swirly brows in 2017/2018 if anyone remembers? They barely lasted for a second. I don’t even recall seeing people actually wearing them in real life. Trends/fads come and trends go.

I feel like people and this fandom always tend to go extra harsher to Daniela, Why does it only seem to be a problem when Daniela does things? The tone in which people use towards her can sometimes sound very dehumanizing sometimes on any occasion. I sense that people are so weird towards her and often don’t act normal. I always feel and say that people don’t treat Daniela like she’s a human being (none of the girls tbh). People love to tearing her a new one for the most bare minimal stuff. There is also a factor of misogynistic and jealousy tones too. As much as some might not want to admit there’s some strong double standards towards her. I saw Megan with bleached brows for a sec, and I’ll admit she does fit them a bit better, but the difference in tone is amazing. People were a lot more nicer and normal about it. And this is no shade to her (she’s my bias) and the other girls, but if it was another member, whether it fits them or not, do you think people would be less harsh?

Again I’m not a fan of the look, but I’ve refrained myself from participating in a mean spirited, insulting (trust me I’ve seen some pretty outrageous choice of comments) I’ve at least learn to word my words better, especially because I’m naturally a very honest and blunt person. But you can be kind and honest at the same time. It wasn’t easy for me before but I’m trying, learning and growing every day to be more loving and graceful about things. It gets easier once you train yourself.

Sorry if this was a bit lengthy, please be don’t be mean in the responses. Just sharing my thoughts and opinion, I think people are doing too much all over a beauty trend, that many others are doing, even if it’s unconventional style. She could darken her eyebrows tomorrow. And because her face card is so lethal, my eyes barely even pay attention to the eyebrows anymore. Like I’ve honestly gotten used to it atp. In fact they’re actually quite cxnty. People just love wasting their time, energy and emotions over the most bare minimum things and I guess finding #12872 reason to hate on Dani lmao

I know their team is going to shove them out there regardless of who is absent, but sometimes it IS best to just cancel an appearance. Their most recent fansigning where it was just Daniela, Lara, and Yoonchae was a sight to see. Imagine as a fan you attend a signing for a group that is technically 6 but operating as 5, promoting as 4, and then you show up and it's only 3 of them. At this point we are talking 50% of the group being absent. At what point do you just decide to cancel? And what makes it worse is that they are supposed to start a world tour in 2 weeks. We know Megan gets sick often (no hate, she cannot help her physical ailments), and with Sophia still being on hiatus until September, there is a real possibility that some of those tour shows will feature 3 members. And at that point, would it even be worth it to go on? Idk just my thoughts.

Okay, so this is pretty simple. If you could re-sort all of their songs into EPs, change which 3 in each are singles, what order they're released, and the styling and vibe of each era, what would you do and which two members do you think would own each EP? It could be based on personal preference, fan favorites, cohesivity, or anything else you'd like.

So… having listened to the girls’ rendition of “I Won’t Say (I’m in Love),” I wanted to give my opinions on their vocals so far. This isn’t meant to be taken as fact or as snark; it’s just my observation and some light criticism. Their rendition was good, but they need to set the bar higher.

I think it’s very clear that they prioritize dance and sexiness way more than singing in this group. To me, their vocals are okay, but I expected a little more. And it’s not just down to the vocals alone, even the vocal arrangements can be all over the place. If there isn’t a defined choreography, they sometimes they all end up doing the same repeated move where they lift their hand to their chest when it isn’t really needed.

We have a group of four girls singing this rendition, and it felt kind of like a karaoke event. Their harmonies together should have been the vocal highlight. As each member sings their part, there should be moments where they come together and really showcase what their voices sound like as a group. Instead, we were left with each of them waiting their turn and looking at the audience.

They’ve set a high standard with their dancing, but I feel like they need to push the boundaries more with their vocals and learn not to always rely on sexiness when performing. If dancing isn’t in the room with us, then we need the vocals to 100% make us forget that.

This also echoes back to what was said during Dream Academy about wanting vocals that could fill arenas.

And this is the problem I keep having with their vocals: nothing sticks out, nothing stands out, and nothing feels memorable. The rendition felt like a “here, damn” moment, like, we were asked to sing this, so here goes.

Disney called you to take on a song that, under different circumstances, if this was say 2016, they might have given to someone like Ariana Grande, and we got nothing truly memorable to look back on. It was basically word-for-word singing, with no distinct vocal arrangement or creative choices that fans or people who look up to KATSEYE can reference and say, “Oh, nothing can top that performance.” There are basically very very few posts where people screen grab a section of the rendition and say "did you see this part" or "mind blown"

There was no real attempt to think outside the box or make the song theirs. And that’s what I feel is missing from their vocals right now: those moments where you hear something and immediately think, “Yep, that’s KATSEYE. they can dance, but when its time for vocals they bring the house down”

They did a lot of impromptu singing in this one and at 18:14 they sang BreakFree and they sounded great harmonizing together even though they're just joking around. I really wish we can see them perform fully live 100% raw vocals like this without backing track and pitch correction autotune. They can do it!

I had mixed opinions on hooti frutti but listening to it, it’s so good and club based. I wanna go to a gay club with a x on my hand with my pinky up.

I could've swore five months ago it was neutral and you could actually say things about katseye that were actually quite negative without being shamed for it. Now it is kinda just a parasocial fan sub with nuanced opinions where negative ones often get shamed but when did the shift happen? Maybe iconic by mistake era idk but there was a shift.

I get the concept they were going for but to me every time I see it, it’s quite jarring… I think they bleached it too much. And the fact that her current hair is dark Kind of amplifies that. Shaved eyebrows are a hard look to pull off.. this is no shade to her but I think the production team should know better.
