Currently watching Double Dare and I can't believe I forgot about how terrible the prizes were.

All seen in Episode 1. I can't wait to see how the other episodes go. lol

Cash prize for the losing team? Here's $50. Now split it two ways.

Physical prizes? Here's stuff like a Garfield phone, a curling iron, a vcr, and a typewriter. Oh, and a small tv. Guess you have to get at least one thing you enjoy.

Grand prize? Here's a trip to Disney if you manage to beat all eight obstacles! Well, a hotel in the area. Close enough.

Just hilarious. I swear I remember prizes being better than this. Maybe they improve later on? Guess we'll see.

Are there any Nick shows in the 90s (including acquired reruns like Tiny Toons) that even if one wasn't a kid or teen when they first watched it, they could still potentially enjoy?

I ask because I've wondered if any of the Nick shows back then had their adult fans outside of parents. Besides Ren and Stimpy obviously, since that was incredibly popular with adults who didn't even have kids of their own. I get the feeling a lot of people probably would think "you have to be a kid or teen to get the most out of it". I'd love to be proven wrong and I think I might be hopefully.

I know this never aired on Nick til the early 2000s, but I think of how Animaniacs is a show that had a lot of adult fans and was one of the first adult fanbases on the Internet. It also is a show that I've seen people who didn't watch it til they were an adult who still loved it despite having zero nostalgic attachment to it.

Life With Loopy Figures

Made these on commission for a friend I think they came out pretty cool, first set I’ve done of them.

Do you feel like Nickelodeon could've aired anime in the 90s?

I was thinking it would've been neat to see Dragon Ball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Slam Dunk, Magic Knight Rayearth, Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura on Nickelodeon back then, but none of them aired on Nick in the states. I wonder why Nick wasn't fond of airing anime. Instead, Cartoon Network got a few of those I mentioned.

This is my Nickelodeon book collection so far. Does anyone still have these? And what is your favorite out of these books? Are there any I should look out for?

Who remembers these and the commercials? Nickelodeon Magazine Please. Why didn’t the reboot Nick Magazines take off like these ones did?

Tom Kane, Darwin's voice actor, has passed away

Most articles about his death don't even mention The Wild Thornberrys when talking about his work, it really surprised me. RIP.

Vote on This Weekends SNICK

What’s up dudes and dudettes?! Slop here, bringing you your nick nostalgia drip every Saturday night! I thought I’d let you all vote and choose our new SNICK this weekend. Comment the year and month + 2 Nicktoons that start the stream. For example: May 1994 + Doug & Rugrats. The only stipulations are that the year must be from the 90s and the cartoon must have aired by that date. So for instance you couldn’t add Hey Arnold pre October 96. The most upvoted lineup will air this Saturday at 7pm EST when we SNICK on Kick on
