With Elijah Hollands officially delisted, I was looking back at the domino effect of that 2023 trade.

If we never did the deal with Gold Coast, we would have kept Pick 26 instead of sliding down to Pick 28 (which became Pick 34 after bids).

Brisbane ended up snapping up Logan Morris at Pick 31. Since we had Pick 29 (Moir) and Pick 34 (Wilson) right in that exact window, we easily could have taken Morris at 26 before Brisbane ever had a chance.

Obviously, the massive silver lining of sliding to 34 was landing Billy Wilson, who has been incredible for us. But given how badly the Hollands trade burned us and cost us a premium Essendon future pick, it makes you wonder.

Do you think our recruiters were genuinely looking at Morris at the time? If you could go back, would you take Morris at Pick 26, or are you just happy we walked away with Billy Wilson despite the Hollands mess?

So from what we have been told by Carlton footy club is that Haywood smacked his head in the shower and went to hospital to get stiches and Cowan was rushed yo hospital, no further details on why and the 3rd carlton player was just visiting Cowan in hospital. Like channel 7 can go fk themselves right off.

It looks like a 20 year old player was taken to Hospital due to the situation. Now I did my own research and the people who seem who might be the 20 year old they are referring are Harry O'Farrell, Matt Carroll and (In a worse case scenario) Jagga Smith.

Who is a realistic player that you would love to see the footy club go after?

Personally I think if we can get Whitfield it’s great business by the footy club.

Looks like Cody has dropped WAY down the draft list , which is good for us and as Australia's biggest Idiots once said : " YOU BET YOU WILL!"! and 'YIBBADA YABBADADDA KOUTAROOTAFIDIES , THANK YA MUM FOR THE RABBITS!" LOL

I don’t know why we’re not going after him or even asking the question. I understand saving draft capital and all but worth asking the question.

We probably don’t need him as much as we did tbf but i remember us being linked with him then it just disappeared
