What aesthetic is this?

Edit: FOUND! It's Soft Colonial Wanderlust

Usually features eyeballs, pinstripes, butterflies, wildflowers, ornate borders, objects for heads, or eyes/heads inside flowers, and sometimes has a paper-doll or stop-motion animation style, with painterly or pencil-drawn art

I've been calling it "pseudo-victorian weirdcore" but i'd love to know its actual name so I can look up more stuff featuring it. Please don't make up a name for this aesthetic! I'm trying to find what it's actually called. Thank you. :)

What is the name of this aesthetic?

I’m thinking “soft and silly”, soft as in cute and silly as in fun colors and designs. But being real, what is this aesthetic’s actual name?

Don’t pout, darling. It’s only the end, and look how beautiful it is.

Songs that I feel capture this vibe is:
Is that all there is by Peggy Lee
As the world caves in by Sarah Cothran
Brazil by Geoff & Maria Muldaur

But I’d love to find more songs that capture that vibe of beauty, absurdity, loss, it is what it is, destruction, bitter sweet, chaos, optimism, endings, dramatic, unhinged, campy sort of vibe. Just something beautiful, devastating and absurd.

Edit: I’ll be working on the playlist as the days go on, adding and refining the song selections. Feel free to check out the playlist as I work on it.

What would this aesthetic be called?

These pictures aren’t the best for what I mean but they do the job. Like, surrealist suburbia. I guess common themes would be

* Suburbs and Suburban homes
* ugly and/or outdated decor, ranging from say the 1960s to the early 2000s
* vibrant and overblown color schemes (with sometimes an emphasis on clear blue skies and/or the sun)
* generally uncomfortable and/or surrealistic imagery. Places seem too vibrant, too “wacky,” and both lived in and devoid of life. Like people pretending to be people

Random pieces of media I’d say have this sort of look are Edward Scissorhands, the music video for Black Hole Sun, the 2003 Cat in the Hat movie, Nuketown from COD, and most nichely, the map vp_DeletedSector on Gmod.

What is this 50s Postcard Aesthetic Called?

I have always loved this 50s era style of art but ive never known the name of it, it both looks like a grainy photo and airbrushed at the same time and i cant lay my finger on the name to research it more.

ive gotten "space age" "mid-century modern" "airbrushed" but not one artstyle name and it bugs mee

for some reason the only way i can find the art style im talking about is 1950s bowling alley postcard and i cant find the others in this style.

if you might be able to find it i can give these descriptors of what it consists of it to narrow it down.

Its almost always vintage like America after ww2 optimism style, always looks airbrushed and real like a photo at the same time. and screams "painted kid on a cigarette ad"

like i said i can only seem to find it online is in bowling alleys but other places i can picture it was landmarks, beaches, skyline photos (like California postcards) and some old classic 50s sites like diners motels tourist traps etc

if anyone can find it out, im also wondering how do i create this style, i couldn't mark the post as both but its been bugging me for months and i want to learn how to make it for some projects and story telling. So any help on how do i create this style would be awesome

Thank you artists and sorry that my idiotic brain cant simply figure out a art style that has been around for 70 years.

Is this Frutiger aero or what?

I’m literally so obsessed with these pictures. They look so good and I really, really want more pictures, so if y’all have any more pictures like these, please share them and yeah, I just love the reflectiveness and the blueness and the clearness and stuff like that.
