Been with my gf for 2.5 years, I didn’t know she had these disgusting nonsensical views. She is Iranian.

I was shittalking Nazis and she jumped to their defence claiming that they were the good guys the whole time and that the Jews deserved it as they are evil murders and control the whole world, the banks etc.

I pointed out how many innocent people were murdered by them, how the Nazis would likely want her and her whole race eliminated, murdered POCs, homosexuals, disabled, babies etc. invaded countries murdering more innocent people. Ran the vile experimental prison camps, raped, pillaged. Pointed out how racist and disgusting Neo Nazis are. My great grandfather fought against the Nazis so for me this is fucking unacceptable.

She just argues that since the Jews ultimately won the world war they have rewrote history, faked the Holocaust and painted the Nazis in an evil light and that I’m fucking stupid and a sheep for believing clear historical facts and not questioning anything.

I love her and I do not want to end things but this is a clear line that has been crossed, I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, that she has been brainwashed by bullshit right wing propaganda on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and that she has just been incredibly misinformed. I just want her to be educated properly and learn the error of her ways.

What the fuck do I?

To preface, I have a really hard time spending money on non essential items. It feels like lately I’ve been seeing almost every bathroom I go into have a squatty potty. Are they worth it? Are there any other items like that that are non essential but you consider life changing? I’ve been thinking about electric toothbrushes, cooking tools like mandolins, veggie choppers, etc.

How do you deal with strangers, injury and natural disasters?
