Mooresville Edge Citizens Embarrass Us All
Just watched the town meeting on YouTube while out of town… suffered through all the public comment to try to understand what people have in their heads, and their hearts. Some of the speakers were coherent. But as it is in most public forums, the worst of the worst grab their 3 minutes. It’s shocking to witness the arrogance. We might as well be hearing from people 3,000 years ago, spouting nonsense about which god is the true god and who are his prophets. It’s on both sides, too, obviously. We don’t need a cute vignette about the time Mohammed showed uncharacteristic virtue any more than we need a revisionist insertion of Christianity in the founding of the US. There is something truly mysterious about our right to expression, and I don’t think the US would be as great as it is without it. But it lays bare the ignorance of our neighbors, when in trying to be “good neighbors” they expose the mental and moral rot at the core of their souls.

Wife makes PB&J upside down
We take these weeklong trips with day-hikes from the car, so we buy bread and peanut butter and jelly for the week. My wife makes PB&J sandwiches to put in our packs and we eat them at the halfway point. My peeve is that she makes them upside down. I prefer the jelly to be on the bottom, but she keeps putting the peanut butter on the bottom. No matter how many times we discuss it, when I pull out the sandwich as the summit it has the jelly on the top. It’s crazy. It seems so simple, but it’s never right. I eat the sandwich because I love her, but deep inside I am so peeve’ed out it almost ruins the downgrade. I have photo evidence. Not sure if this peeves anyone else.

Kissel’s Skeleton Owned By Henry?
Going through the catalogue again… Side Stories -Toilet IED, Kissel says “If you wanna have me, in your home, for all eternity, Henry, you are allowed to have my skeleton”. Timestamp 40:37. Note that the skin was not gifted, but was offered if Henry pays for it. Price not negotiated. Is this agreement still in effect? And if so, how will they come together on a price for the skin? Is there a default price for the skin if Kissel passes away before they can reach an agreement?
