Would Tom (The Boondocks) and Jerry Be Friends If They Ever Met?

I don't know what it is, but something inside me just feels like these 2 would be friends. Both are seamed as pathetic by their family (and I guess friends in Tom's case because I don't know if I'm tripping or something but from my memory, Jerry doesn't has friends.), and they both just wanna be seen as the strong, dominant figures of their respective house hold. I just feel like they would empathize with each other and bond over that. But what do you guys think?

Create your own 3-hour Adult Swim broadcast

You can pick any show that has aired on Adult Swim.

You may choose 2 original half-hour shows, 2 original 15-minute shows, one show acquired from Fox or the WB, and one anime.

For example:
The Boondocks, Venture Bros, Moral Orel, Metalocalypse, Futurama, Cowboy Bebop

Anyone remember this stealth pilot from Cartoon Network in December 2000? It aired once on Adult Swim in 2002 as well, but it had lots of early Adult Swim DNA. Was called The Lewis Lectures and starred Jack Black.

I wish Dream Corp LLC lasted longer. Its actually such a good and wholesome show when you get past the gross out humor

Woman in my late 40s and I want to learn to swim

I love the water but I never had the opportunity to learn to swim. Now I am realizing how much fun I could be having and how much I am missing out. I went on vacations and everyone went snorkeling and I had to sit back because I was too scared to put my head under water.
We are going on another trip and a portion of it is to snorkel and dive and I don’t want to keep missing out. I may have waited too long but I want to take swim lessons before my trip. I have literally two weeks starting on Monday. I want to know before I get my hopes too high, realistically how much can i learn in a two week period so I can also snorkel with family? How long does it take to learn to float and how long it takes to tread water (whatever that means)? And how long does it take to learn to put head underwater water? Do swim instructors usually have a plan on what to teach first or is everything taught simultaneously?

Is it realistic to think that in two weeks I will be able to go on a trip and be able to snorkel and float? I am not saying I want to be able to swim already but the bare minimum I want is float and put head under water? Is that an achievable goal?
Any first time snorkeling tips for a late 40s woman would be helpful too. Thanks in advance
