My ballot came in OK, so I dutifully filled it out and sent it back. After I got the email from the state board of elections, I emailed and asked them if I did the wrong thing.

What I was told: "Your local election office is able to identify these ballots and secure them. These ballots have been voided in our voter registration system that is used to track and receive ballots. You should mark and return the replacement ballot to ensure you vote the correct ballot and that your ballot is counted."
