At the same time you oppose something you should offer a solution that is acceptable... but you didn't. Nor has the SEC. It's been five years since pay-for-play started, and it seems to only be getting worse. The clock is ticking. Do something very soon or it's not going to matter what you do.

And please stop calling them student-athletes. You stopped caring about educating them the minute the portal allowed them to transfer at-will. They are professionals... and I have no interest in watching minor league football in a system rigged to benefit the wealthiest teams.

I believe we will have someone to follow for years to come.

Hi I am a fan from the UK that has adopted Auburn as my team as I love the passion, dedication and loyalty of the fanbase. Auburn has amazing traditions and for me it is the quintessential Southern college football team.

However, I have noticed a lot of people in online spaces say that the fanbase is mostly alumni or people with a direct connection to the university. Is this strictly true? Is Auburn fandom a closed shop in that regard or are ‘sidewalk alumni’ welcome so long as they’re passionate fans?

Or is it simply a case of Auburn having a greater amount of the fanbase that is alumni than teams like Bama, Georgia, Tennessee etc that creates this perception?

I've taken up flight tracking over the summer and love tracking university jets. Auburn's brand new N10AU jet flew yesterday from Auburn to Missoula Montana, today it flew from Montana to Reno.
