Any news on the next elusive target?

I was looking at the 2026 roadmap and noticed that it said we were going to get a new elusive target in spring. (Or at least, that’s what I assumed when it said Target: Unidentified) Has there been any news on that? It hasn’t been announced yet, and it’s almost summer. I understand how time consuming of a process coding is, but I feel we would’ve maybe said something by now.

So, not only IOI wanted to turn 47 into a Max Payne-type guy with the alcoholic stuffs, but also Sam Fisher?

I have to poison the lobby food in New York to SA the Freelancer showdown.

However, I can't find a chef outfit to poison the food quietly..

Just finished a 4 target Haven Island mission that was more difficult that SA/SO

It was alerted Maldives level, default spawn. I had 2 targets in the restaurant area and 2 targets in Tyson Williams' mansion.

The first target was a guard patrolling between the pool and restaurant. I simply turned on the tap and he went to investigate, at which point I shot the lighting fixture and he was electrocuted.

The second target was a waitress in the restaurant, going between the bar and the open buffet areas. I lured her to the edge with a coin and then spam-called explosive phone, luring her under a coconut palm (which I shot with ICA19 from afar) for an easy "falling object" accident kill.

The third target was a female researcher near Tyson Williams' mansion pool. I found a car battery in a loot crate along the way and it came in clutch. I turned on the tap to create a water puddle and immediately turned it off before anyone noticed. I then tossed the car battery to the puddle and it simultaneously electrified the water and lured her to her death.

The fourth target was a security guard indoors, in the living room near the aquarium, reading his book. I waited for the male researcher who was manning the grill to turn away and snuck past him to the living room via the backdoor. I then tossed an EMP charge down by the aquarium, which lured the guard. When he went to pick it up, I activated it remotely and shot the aquarium for yet another electrocution.

I retraced my steps and exited via the motorboat. It was a fun puzzle to tackle, as I am currently doing no dart gun runs to practice for post-prestige missions.

One of the greatest things with freelancer

One of the greatest things that freelancer did was incentivize using all the items that you normally wouldn’t use because you can bring something better. For example : why would you bring a collapsing baton over anything else since you can find melee items all over the map ? But with freelancer these items have rarity that helps you complete optional objectives that rewards you. Anyway what do you all think about this ?

This is REALLY annoying me now lol.

This has to happen at least once per syndicate at this point. "Silent Attack" whether its with a melee item, my bare hands, a gun, or a poison. You press Y to perform a SILENT attack and the dude turns into Bruce Lee and does the quickest 180 I've ever seen. Almost to the point wondering why I even continue taking Silent Assassin Prestige Objective anymore. This is just regular Freelancer, not hardcore.

Anyone open the game just to fantasize about going on a vacation to the map locations? Burnt out doing SASO and stopped playing years ago. I still sometimes open the game just to look at the scenery and imagine I am there.

Agent 47 vs Sherlock Holmes

So I'm a massive fan of the silent assassin, but I can't help but wonder could Sherlock trace the "accidents" back to 47 or even the ICA? I think it would make for a good story.
