Silent assassin failure PSA

Tossed a chloroform bottle at a target. They saw me toss it. No one else did or saw them at all. SA goes to fail.

Then they passed out and I killed them.

Still failed silent assassin?? Dafuq.

Unpopular Opinion: Follow up strikes missing and leaving you open to punish after knocking someone out of a jump will never not be whack

Edit: Just for clarity, a good example of what I mean is when you have them oki’d in the corner and they get one frame of jump off and now your target combo gets you blown up even though every frame is connecting.

Edit edit: Yes we all know it’s because the meaty wasn’t airtight. That’s not the discussion. It’s if a micro jump in the corner should = mad good invuln and advantage in certain situations. For instance, could being hit out of a jump in early frames or on the rising frames be treated differently than later in the jump, for instance? Try to think outside the current constraints of the game mechanics. We all understand the current game mechanics - no need to restate them.

Original Post:
It never feels great that knocking someone out of a jump puts them in an invulnerable state where your follow up attack whiffs and now you’re open to a punish… for successfully knocking them out of a jump?

I don’t know what the answer is, maybe some mandatory air-block that resets to neutral or something. But that just never feels great.

I have never seen this and it freaked me tf out

I literally yelled in surprise when it happened and I have an embarrassing amount of hours on this game. Has anyone else seen this? Is it new or am I just crazy and it happens all the time?
