Something is off with the AI, and it feels like they've tried compensating by increasing the number of enemies.

I finished the game yesterday on Heroic. A month ago I replayed the original on Heroic with my wife, and while it was challenging I don't remember there being nearly the amount of enemies in the original.

Obviously with adjusted level design they're going to add and move things around but does anyone else feel this way?

It seems like sometimes the AI gets borked and just stares at you, so to try and compensate they've increased the amount of enemies. I also only saw an Elite try to roll away from a nade like one time my whole play through.

The Truth And Reconciliation hangar room being a prime example of it feeling like it went a bit overboard.

EDIT: Thinking about it more, some of the later levels, Keyes for example, are just hallways STUFFED with enemies. Which to me isn't really all that interesting design wise. It ended up making me run past some sections because after respawning I didn't want to stare down a hallway firing bullets and throwing grenades into it.

The game was fun overall, but yeah I can't escape this feeling in the back of my head that something is off about it.

Also yeah, the ragdolls are crappy. Please fix.
