Loving the PS5 Pro

Since my post got banned from the Playstation sub(no explanation), thought I would show my appreciation here. First PlayStation console since the 2. Been a PC gamer since 2019. Was on XBOX since before that, but was just not excited about it anymore. This console has reignited that excitement. Love the performance, ease of use and exclusives.

Price difference of physical vs digital in your country?

This is my main worry about the end of physical media. In Australia, a new game will almost always retail for full price on PSN, but usually a brand new physical copy will be anywhere from $10 to $40 cheaper. What's the price difference in your country?

Is Horizon Forbidden west the best looking game on PS5 pro?

I been replaying it on my pro and my God is this game gorgeous with stable 60fps and 4k resolution. Guriella games are insane and they use their own upscaling instead of PSSR which is even more mad lol.

Pulled the trigger, getting the upgrade that I have always wanted.

It’s still a long way before this box is home where it belongs but I couldn’t be happier. Worth the trip to the country side for a pick up.

PS5 slim vs PS PRO

I just got a Samsung S90 55” 4K OLED TV! I’ve never owned a console before, so I’m trying to decide between the PS5 Slim and the PS5 Pro. The main reason I’m buying one is to play GTA 6. Which one would you recommend?

PS5 Pro for an “Uncharted” gamer?

Hi everyone,

I only play games every now and then, and right now I occasionally play on the Switch 2, though it’s mainly used for family games with the kids.

I still have a PS4 Pro, which I used to enjoy playing on. I love games like “Uncharted”—meaning single-player games with a good story. Other games don’t interest me as much, partly because I don’t have much time to play.

What I do like—and love—is cinematic entertainment with great graphics and immersion. Graphics and visuals are important to me because I really enjoy it when the experience is almost indistinguishable from a movie. I own an OLED TV.

I’m sure there are plenty of experienced PlayStation gamers here who might be able to give me some advice on how to decide.

Is it worth getting a PS5 Pro? Is a PS5 enough, since there isn’t really (that much) of a difference in graphics performance for this type of game?

Or should I just keep my PS4 Pro :)?

I’d really appreciate your feedback and comments!

Just picked up the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition. The nostalgia got me, seeing that classic gray design took me right back to playing my PS1 as a kid.

Now I need some games to hold me over until GTA VI…

PS5 Pro Styling?

I have joined the clan

Biracial baddie for now, I thought the Pro came with a white disc cover too. Luckily I still have my old slim and could use its left side covers😅

I have ordered a vertical stand and black covers as well. TV is a 55 inch LG C3, so I’m hoping to see some difference when playing for example Battlefield 6. Currently copying it from disc, super stoked🤩
