Anyone using Sony cameras for Etsy product shots? Curious if it's overkill

Running a small home décor shop and shooting listings on an old phone with a clip-on light. The results are okay but inconsistent, especially with textured ceramics and fabric shadows. Looking at used a6000 or a6100 bodies since the price dropped after the new announcements.

Question is whether the jump actually matters for web-resolution photos or if I'm just buying gear to avoid editing more. The phone handles white balance poorly under my workshop LEDs and I spend too much time fixing it. A dedicated camera with a proper lens seems like it would cut that down, but I also know better gear doesn't fix bad staging.

For those who made a similar switch, did it speed up your workflow or just add another charging cable to manage? I'm stressed about sinking money into something that sits next to my other abandoned productivity hacks. Also any lens recommendations for small flatlay setups would be useful, though I know this isn't a photography sub.

Emotional Support Briefcase: Confessions of a Serial Default Loadout User

Been playing through WoA trilogy and realized I have a problem. I basically use the same 3 or 4 items every single mission regardless of whether they make sense for the level. Silverballer, lockpick, emetic poison vial, and the briefcase. That's it. Every time. Even when I'm doing a sniper assassin run I'm still dragging that briefcase around like it's my emotional support luggage.

My friends give me grief about it because apparently half the fun is experimenting with all the unlocks but honestly I just get comfortable with what works. Maybe it's the Etsy shop side of me talking, I like having my reliable tools and sticking with them. Messes with my groove when I have to think about what gear fits the situation.

Does anyone else have this mental block about switching up their loadout or am I just being stubborn? Curious if there are items you all refuse to play without even when they're objectively useless for the mission at hand. The coin is probably my other crutch, pretty sure I've thrown more coins in this game than I've spent in real life.

Does our offensive line actually get enough credit when things go well, or does it only get attention when something goes wrong?

Noticed the pattern where a bad game from the O-line gets dissected play by play, but a genuinely solid performance barely gets mentioned unless it directly correlates with a big offensive output. Feels like the line's floor gets scrutinized way more than its ceiling gets acknowledged

Not sure if this is just how offensive line discussion goes for every team (invisible when good, glaring when bad) or if it's a specific blind spot in how we talk about this unit here. Anyone actually tracked snap-by-snap performance closely enough to have a read on whether the perception matches the tape?

Team Issued Broncos Stuff Keeps Showing Up at Thrift Stores. But Is It Worth the Authentication Gamble?

Might be a niche thing to care about, but hear me out. With the roster getting genuinely interesting again, Waddle coming in, Surtain locked up long term, I've been paying closer attention to pregame warmup footage lately. Not for the football analysis side of it, more because I source vintage and secondhand gear and warmup apparel is this weird gray zone where stuff surfaces at thrift stores and estate sales and nobody really knows what they have.

What I can't pin down is how that gear actually leaves locker rooms. Team issued stuff worn during warmups, sideline jackets, that kind of thing. Does it get auctioned through official channels, does it end up with equipment staff, does it just disappear? I've picked up pieces before that look legit and have no way to verify anything without paying for authentication, which eats the margin completely.

I'm also curious whether this fanbase cares about gameworn or teamissued adjacent stuff, or if people here mostly just want retail jerseys of current guys. If the market is mostly chasing Surtain and Bo Nix right now, older sideline gear from even five years ago probably moves slower than I'd expect.

Anyone have actual experience with this, either sourcing it or buying it? Not asking for a valuation, just trying to understand how the secondary market actually works for nonretail Broncos gear.

Where do you draw the line between a seller trying to fix a bad experience and pressuring a buyer to change their review?

A seller messaged me after my 3 star review and asked me to reconsider the rating. I understand wanting to fix a bad experience, but I’m not sure where normal follow up ends and pressure starts. Is one polite message fine? What about repeated requests, a discount or a refund?
