Every NFL Team Playing Overseas Every Year is Bad for the NFL

The Broncos-Jets game in London last year was a stinker. A lot of the international games are bad on the field, but they’re also bad for fans (7:30 am kickoffs, too far to attend).

But the league will be going to 16 international games soon, meaning every team will play overseas every year. That’s bad for the league, ultimately.

John Elway cards

I went to a garage sale this weekend and got this lot of John Elway cards mostly from the 90’s. I only paid 11$ for all of them. I don’t really know if they are worth anything but figured this would be cool to share with the sub. 🐴

Elway 🐐

Shout out to whomever posted this image a while back! Snagged the image and my co workers wife who works at a printing company threw it onto a metal backed sign for my man cave.

This image is so iconic to me.......went to my first game at Mile High in 1988 and went to many more. As a kid growing up in Wyoming Elway was THE MAN and Broncos were the team to cheer for.

Just bought tickets to see the Broncos play the 49ers. Will be my sons first game, and my first since seeing the Broncos play the San Diego Chargers in 1999.

I’m a 3rd generation Broncos fan, raising 4th generation Broncos fans. I’ve lived in CA my entire life, and my mom never wanted to take me to Oakland because of the stories we would hear. This meant I only got to see my team once, and it was in 1999 during Elways last season when they played in San Diego. I’ll never forget it. Our seats were the very last row of the highest section, our backs were against the concrete wall of the stadium. Elway fumbled his first snap and I panicked, but the Broncos ended up dominating the game.

Now, 27 years later, the Broncos will be coming as close as they can to where I live. Had to jump on the opportunity to go. Not going to tell my son until the day of the game, so please support me in my journey of waiting months to share the excitement with him. As excited as I am to see the game, what I’m most excited for is my son’s first time getting to experience a Broncos game.

Go Broncos!

Think I came across a Broncos Signed Football - Anyone track signatures?

I was gifted this football from someone who didn’t pay much attention to the NFL and he didn’t recall who signed it. As I’m also no expert in identifying signatures or establishing a value for something like this, I’d love to hear what collectors or other folks who speculate would say.

Any ideas on who signed this and/or value?

If helpful, the reason I say it might be Broncos is because I was subsequently given a Broncos Super Bowl collector item (1/500) from the Peyton Manning Era.

Pictures attached!

Ranking Schedule Release Videos: Chargers Best, Broncos Surprisingly Good

Where else can you get the definitive AFC West schedule release video rankings? Nowhere, that's where.

Hey, it's the offseason. It's raining cats and dogs here in Fort Collins.

What'd you guys think of the videos? Specifically of the Chargers blowing up Bo Nix's ankle with a grenade?

The uneven triangle pattern on DEN’s numbers are my least favorite part of the new uniforms. Plain numbers > feint topo-map texture (to pay homage to the Rocky Mountains) > inconsistent/cluttered triangles

Any advice on hotels close to Mile High for those attending a game for the first time?

Bit the bullet and decided to finally see my first ever Broncos (and NFL) game in December at Mile High (!!!!) - have tickets and flights down pat but not my hotel.

I’ll be travelling from Eastern Canada (nearly 1800 miles away) so am not familiar with the area AT ALL. I’m coming in for the December 6th game fuelled primarily by my immense contempt for the Dolphins franchise; so far I’m seeing wildly different rates - anywhere from 300 to 1500 CAD a night. Any advice for those like me that are coming from out of town? I’ll also be coming in the day before so any food recs in the area also very much appreciated:)
