After Bo Nix was knocked down in practice on Tuesday by Malcolm Roach, he fired the ball at Roach. A few plays later, Nix pulled Nik Bonitto off the pile as the offense and defense jumped on a fumble.

Nix has that dog in him. The Broncos are ready to take that aggression out on the Packers on Friday.

Sean Payton before the Falcons game said the purpose of preseason is “you want to win everything.”

They made a statement vs. Atlanta and look primed to go all the way this year. Payton agrees this is one of his teams who are good enough to win a Super Bowl. Exciting times in Denver!

I can't wait to see Jonah Coleman play tonight. He's been one of the camp darlings along with Pat Bryant. I hope he runs tough through the tackles.

And I'd love to see Justin Joly get some touches and catches as well.

Nix was 9th-best in the NFL when blitzed when looking at an increase in EPA/dropback. That's a huge positive going into 2026, especially when considering other analytical stats haven't been kind to him.

One area he does need to improve is over the middle of the field between the numbers. Some great stats from Mina Kimes and me about that, and how Jaylen Waddle will help him improve there.

The Broncos have the 4th-best roster in the NFL. That, per PFSN.

There's no doubt they are strong enough to compete for a Super Bowl again. But no team is perfect and this ranking starts with Denver's worst positional groups and moves toward the best ones. Part 2 will continue from 6th-to-1st.

Including Wickersham saying Payton "Nearly broke himself" during the week without Bo Nix and Stiddy at QB. Payton is the right coach to lead the Broncos back to the Super Bowl.

Many people were upset when Folarin Balogun was allowed to play after his red card suspension. But instead of being mad at Balogun, or the USMNT, fans should be mad at FIFA who let it all happen. (And they did the same for Cristian Ronaldo.)

Multiple outlets, from NFL.com to PFF, and CBS to The Ringer have all put out their QB rankings ahead of the 2026 season. The Q is where does Bo Nix land? It's lower than some may hope, but he also has a chance to continue to prove himself and move up the list with a great 2026.

The 2026 World Cup is shining a light on how cheap the NFL owners are in terms of the playing fields. 92% of NFL players prefer playing on grass. We know from multiple studies that grass is safer than turf, and the fact that FIFA won't allow their athletes to play on anything but grass is further proof.

Update: As many have posted here, initial plans say the new Denver Broncos stadium will have grass. That would make it only the third indoor stadium in the NFL to have grass, joining Las Vegas and Arizona, which have huge roll-out grass fields. There's no room in the initial plans for a roll-out field, so maybe they have some sort of grow lights. It still seems unlikely the new Broncos stadium will be grass, even with a retractable roof, and we all know building plans change as time goes on. But if they do go with grass, that will be a huge win for the Broncos.

This, per NFL Daily News, says rookies will arrive to Broncos training camp on 7/22. Veterans will arrive on 7/28. That's all the info we have at the moment, nothing on individual camp dates or times.

A few days later, Alaric Jackson from the LA Rams was arrested for suspected felony domestic violence.

The league's policies are inconsistent, and the irony is the league wants to attract more women fans.
