Deer on the Ridge

Why do some of these deer have fuzzy antlers, I haven't seen this previously.

Dead fish and crawdads everywhere. Terribly worrying

Is The Lyric using AI art now???

Took me a minute to notice, but the letters on the jacket are nonsense and the mohawk on the skull doesn't follow the direction the skull is facing. So disappointed to see this coming from somewhere that is supposed to be a huge hub for artists.

DO NOT use the cobblestone car wash off of College and E Willox Ln by the King Soopers

I went through it an hour ago, and it was the most disgusting car wash I've ever had in my life. Out of the 50 or so I've used in my life over 10 states, never has a car wash made my car dirtier than before going in.

After coming out of the end of the tunnel, my vehicle was completely covered in a slimy film. My whole car smelt like a porta potty and I spent an hour across the street at the hand wash carwash trying to rinse the sewer smell off. I was maybe able to get 50% of the smell gone. No idea what to do now for the smell, and I got covered in the smell/slim while trying to rinse the crap off before it permanently dried. I'm trying to figure out if I need to go to Urgent Care or something for Hepatitis shot.

0/10 would choose cobblestone if I needed motivation to kill myself in the future.

Please help - lost dog on West Branch Trail near Red Feather Lakes

2nd edit: SHE WAS FOUND!!!!! Thanks to everyone for the tips and advice. I appreciate the words of encouragement and also the reminders that dogs need to be leashed, which I strongly agree with.

Also, just a heads-up for anyone else hiking with dogs: it seems these deer are being especially territorial now that there are fawns around. Keep your pups leashed and stick to the trail.

Hello, my partner lost his dog, Max, almost two hours ago on this trail. A deer chased her off, and he’s still out there looking for her. Does anyone have advice on what we can do? Numbers to call? I’m so worried she might have been injured.

1st edit: I don’t know how to post photos. She’s 28lbs, mostly white and black spotted border collie-mix. She’s friendly to people and is wearing her collar with contact info.

Gender-affirming Primary Care

Hi ya’ll! I recently moved to the area and am looking for recommendations for primary care providers that can prescribe gender-affirming HRT (testosterone). I am not out to my mom yet and am on her insurance, so if it could be a primary care doctor instead of a specific hormone clinic that would be great. It would be nice to kill two birds with one stone. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance

Any Mexican carniceria's that sell roasted chickens?

When in Mexico getting pollo Mexicana with tortillas, beans, rice, roasted jalapenos and eating on the beach. I searched Google but didn't find anything. Any Mexican spots not a restaurant that you can pick up a roasted chicken with the fixings? I know you can get fresh tortillas, beans, rice from las 4 Americas.

Arts and Crafts Supplies

Hi! My partner and I are always cleaning out our art supplies (usually things from fiber art, collage, and jewelry making) - does anyone know of a place that accepts these as donations?

Keep your Watch Duty notifications on tonight.

So this is the city's plan? Just make a heat map? How about we come up with something better. Submit a video to the city of your neighbor shooting off a firework, and they get a $10,000 fine, and you get a cut (maybe $500?) if verified. It wouldn't get everyone the first year, but word would spread faster than the wildfire that could spread through town if one of these hits the wrong lawn or tree, and it would be far cheaper than responding to a block of structure fires. Do better, City Council.

Surrounded by Explosions 🥲

I live off of Elizabeth and Taft...I'm currently basically surrounded by fireworks on all sides, even just the next street over. Really not a fan of this and neither are the pets. 🥲

Independence day celebration at City Park was awesome!

If you didn't get a chance to come to city park for the celebration, it was so much fun! It was my first time. Glad to see the thousands of happy people from different walks of life, gathered to enjoy the display and time with loved ones. Happy Independence day! Love you all! ❤️ 🇺🇸🦅

Fireworks

Love hearing fireworks when the state is in a stage 3 drought and most of it’s on fire and we just had three tragic deaths of wildland firefighters. If you want to respect and honor our country, don’t be a fucking idiot and set off explosives. Genuinely sickens me. End rant.
