Hope everyone is doing well today after the drubbing we took tonight. Always good to remind yourself that it’s just a game that you can’t influence the result of at the end of the day. That said, we love the Broncos for a reason and we want to see them win. Remember to not overreact to Week 1. I know it’s hard to do, and overreacting is not the same as fair criticism of what was a wholly terrible showing by both the offense and defense. But also make sure to understand that the sky isn’t falling after one loss.

The schedule this year is very hard, and the upcoming five game stretch is the hardest of the entire season: Jaguars, Rams, 49ers, Chargers, and Seahawks. While there is a chance we could go 0-6, the NFL varies week to week. This team returned 21/22 starters after making the AFCCG and being one ankle injury away from making the Super Bowl. Trust in the players to perform better, trust in the coaches to improve the game plan, and trust in your dear Denver Broncos.

On another note, I found this little tidbit about Bo Nix quite interesting. He has started very slow for the first two games of each season so far into his NFL career.

[Pelissero] Broncos star CB Patrick Surtain II is believed to have avoided a long-term injury. Surtain will undergo further testing for the non-contact injury to his ankle. But his Achilles is intact & all indications are that he avoided any worst-case scenario.

[Walder] T.J. Watt pass rush get off (per NFL Next Gen Stats): 2022 (0.75s), 2023 (0.79s), 2024 (0.83s), 2025 (0.84s), 2026 (0.68s). In addition to his 3.5 sacks, a good sign for a bounce back for Watt. On the other hand, just a 10% pass rush win-rate at edge which is well below average.

[Zachariason] Target share ranks among all NFL wide receivers through three games: Luther Burden (15th), Kalif Raymond (26th), Rome Odunze (60th)

Opinions on this trade for me as a contender? I would be getting Mahomes, Walker, and Pickens.
