Mark Strong says that Adele does not sing in “Cry To Heaven”
That doesn’t mean she won’t sing the soundtrack for the movie 👀
The Jenny BBC bit got me thinking there are really people who go out on local and even international tours impersonating Adele.
I have mixed feelings about it and I wonder how does everybody else feel about it. Have you or would you watch an impersonator live in concert?
In general, I think get the vibe for watching impersonators of artists who already passed away, but I’m a little weirded out that this exists for living artists.
Also I’m just so attached to the tiny details in Adele’s voice and mannerisms that even if the person is an amazing singer, I think I would just be annoyed at every tiny difference, even though I know rationally that it could never sound the same.
Idk, I’d like to hear more thoughts.
She 100% knew what she was gonna be doing considering the movie she’s about to debut in. So an album from her is 50/50 in the coming years because we never know with her 💀😂
The third single from the album 25, released on May 16, 2016, has now surpassed 1.3 billion streams on Spotify, and the official music video published on YouTube recently reached 1 billion views.
For you, what is the best single from this album ?
posted on a IG story of @caiogiardini who is there tonight 🪐 ✨
A remix dropping out of nowhere ? I wasn’t expecting that 💀
I’m curious to know which live performance of ‘Easy On Me’ is your absolute favourite, whether you were lucky enough to attend it in person, or just discovered it online.
For me, it has to be the performance from ‘One Night Only’ (2021, Griffith Observatory, LA), which is also available on YouTube.
There’s just something incredibly special about this version. To me, it feels like she completely unleashed her voice here. Because it was a one-off show, rather than a weekly residency schedule, it seems like she didn’t need to hold back or carefully preserve her vocal cords the way she probably had to do in Vegas or in Munich.
She sings with full power in this performance! The vocals sound so pure, controlled, emotional, and effortless all at once. Honestly, I even prefer it to the studio version! There’s a richness and intensity to it that gives me chills every time.
So now I’d love to hear your picks! What’s your favourite live performance of ‘Easy On Me’, and what exactly makes it stand out to you? xx
Do you think it’s fun to connect two artists through collaborations (features, soundtracks, etc.)?
Like starting from Adele and trying to reach Ariana Grande in as few steps as possible.
I built Musicle using spotify data for people who love knowing all about artist collaborations.
What do you guys think about it?
seen this yesterday and i’m confused.. is this a placeholder title? new song for the movie? either way im stoked to see if she does a song for the new movie!
