Has anyone else noticed the way the West is platforming not just Indian pop culture, but South Indian pop culture specifically?
Not exclusively Kollywood gossip but it seems like Western pop culture is making an effort to blur the line with South India specifically by specifically casting and representing South Indian talent and art. This particularly sticks out as the “woke” trend is over, but South Indian integration has escalated. Katseye, one of the biggest girl groups popular with kids, has Lara Raj who constantly talks about being from Tamilnadu. Thoughts? Do you all appreciate this or find it performative?
Megan has lost her spark ☹️
It really seems like Megan has lost the exuberance, hyperactivity, and passion that made her her.
She looks dead behind the eyes in all videos and isn’t going full-out in videos and performance despite standing out for her moves and expressions earlier.
It’s really sad to see and it’s probably a direct result of management pushing the group in a bizarre gimmicky direction she doesn’t feel reflects her. That sexual slime play in this latest video feels beneath her.
She isn’t doing a bad job or anything but she seems weary. Sophia has also lost her spark in some way, and Lara as well to an extent. Has anyone else noticed this?
Where do they sell THC cocktails?
I went to Equipment Room recently (amazing, by the way) and had a great THC drink.
Also Ramen Tatsuya has THC drinks.
Are there any other places in Austin that have that kind of thing? I’m a fan 🥦
All the Jay Z hate shows you all missed the point of Lemonade
Aside from the fact that it is profoundly parasocial for fans to hold a grudge against Jay Z and refuse to “forgive” him for something he did not to you but to Beyoncé, all this recent Jay Z hate shows people just did not understand Lemonade.
The entire album is a redemption epic which aims to normalize forgiveness and break the curses of generational trauma so that we don’t have to keep living in broken families. For fans to completely miss the point of this while claiming to be fans of the album is a joke. Listen to the voiceover at the end of Sandcastles at her Grammys performance.
People are complex and no one is defined by just their mistakes or flaws. You just read the headlines, but Beyoncé knows all the good things about him, which none of you Internet Einsteins can speak to.
Stop infantilizing a 45-year-old woman and acting like you have better judgment than someone who actually is in the situation and knows the full story. If she forgave him then fans are just being dumb by acting like their vendetta against him is valid. Not to mention that there are three kids involved and the shit talking affects their lives when they hear what the Internet is saying about their dad.
Listen to Love Drought, Sandcastles, Forward, and All Night. Move on.
I collected every ZooPal plate when I was 5 and still have all of them 20 years later
Does the concert film have BTS scenes?
Trying to figure out whether to go or not - I love seeing tour BTS.
Does anyone know if the film contains anything other than just concert footage?
What was an era that was unsuccessful but visually a SERVE?

youtube.comWhite House feuds with Katy Perry by using her music in war propaganda again
forbes.comThe White House has used another Katy Perry song in their war propaganda
At this point, she needs to do what Taylor did and pay these trolls NO dust
Responding does nothing other than allow them to use her for attention, and then lampoon and smear her in the press for responding
I can’t believe we are having a White House vs. Pop stars feud in the big 2026 like are we serious
What are your thoughts on Taylor’s Eras Tour Easter Eggs about her Joe breakup?
Some things I noticed watching the videos of opening night in Phoenix made me raise an eyebrow.
The Lover house burning down during the shower o sparks in the transition to the Fearless era.
The glass cracking and shattering during Delicate, as Taylor jumped on it.
Taylor lighting the house with a match during Bad Blood and making it collapse altogether.
A new door appearing at the end of the show, suggesting a new house altogether.
Combined with some of the songs on Midnights that threw me for a loop, especially Dear Reader and Hits Different, I suspected heavily that her relationship with Joe was either secretly ended or on the rocks. Lo and behold, they broke up a few shows into the tour.
Does anybody think she was clearly referencing this upcoming breakup? Was she planning to dump him, and teased it through the tour visuals? That sounds super messed up to me.
Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts on this are.
Also, during the New Heights podcast, she stated that whenever she uses Easter Eggs, they only pertain to music releases and art, not her personal life. I beg to differ, after seeing what she did on this tour.

Can you imagine a Pixar movie inspired by the Magic Tree House series? Where they point at locations and time periods in books and go on grand quests around the world, and learn actual life lessons in the process?
I would love if the Toy Story franchise touched on the topic of books at some point
The Toy Story franchise started out as pure fun but has evolved into a piece of powerful, generational commentary as society has faced an increasing need to examine the role of toys, play, and imagination in childhood.
In Toy Story 5, one theme touched upon towards the end is the way tech and toys can coexist in a child’s upbringing, implying that it is possible for tech to add to a child’s life without taking away from the value of toys. Many Gen Z can attest to this, as we experienced a healthy balance in contrast to what is the norm for Gen Alpha.
Anyways, I’m wondering whether a subsequent Toy Story movie could touch on the role of books in a child’s life. I would LOVE if a community library or children’s library somehow served as a setting for some of the action.
It would be awkward to place the full thematic focus on books but simply touching on the topic would be a powerful way to underscore this other source of imagination and adventure that is becoming lost in the kid culture of today.
I think as this franchise progresses the endpoint it must approach is representation of an “ideal” childhood in a world full of children that are pursuing interests devoid of intellectual stimulation. Bonnie and Blaze are a bright spot in a dark landscape. I think it’s important for the franchise to flesh out what that bright spot could look like, and to me, books are a key component of this.
Apparently Tyrant is a pretty solid GP hit?
Y’all, I had no idea. Apparently Tyrant became a pretty substantial, proper hit with the GP?
I was playing Tyrant in the car and my high school cousins started singing along, to my surprise. I asked them how they knew the song, and they said it was a “very popular song” as if it was obvious information.
That’s kind of cool! I had no idea that Cowboy Carter yielded two GP hits.
Apparently Morning Dew (Donk) is also known by high schoolers… huh? Are there any other songs that have become GP hits without me knowing?

Bring back an underrated banger!
What’s your recommendation for a song that isn’t being talked about enough, even in the context of deep cuts and underrated songs? For example, Legendary Lovers wouldn’t count as it is being talked about and is recognized as underrated.
My pick is Right Now by Rihanna and David Guetta. Man this shit HITS.
