lara- literally no question here, we've all watched her get cancelled every other week for how shes basically butchering her culture with the way shes been dressing and her failure and ignorance on doing basic research on what shes abt to wear. lets just face it, shes an indian girl who grew up in the US and is now dressing stereotypically and passing it off as "expressing her culture" when she cant even get some things right, YEARS after being in a global girl grp

megan- i found it really stupid when, back in DA, she said she has a "whole chinese dress" and feels "very connected to her roots" because of it......girl🫩 the photo u see here? LITERALLY the only time ive ever seen her "represent her culture", plus the whole "she always wears her jade bracelet" thing is so😤😤 like wow, im SO chinese cuz i wear a bracelet ALL the time!! literally just dani and her hoop earrings atp🙄

dani- im really heavy on her because im from cuba too, im actually afro-latina (half ugandan, half cuban) and i just HATE when her parasocial solo stan babies keep shoving it down our throats that shes "fully latina".....sure jan. the only sign she shows of being latina is those hoop earrings she be wearing all the time by which, imo, could mean ANYTHING at first glance (lets be real, r u really gonna see a random girl on the street wearing hoops and think shes latina at first glance???). and i know ur probably thinking "but what abt the cross necklace she always wears??", honey, a cross necklace is NOT cultural appropriation, eyebutts should literally go look this up instead of saying it "makes her latina" cuz she wears it all the time, it has RELIGIOUS ties not CULTURAL ones. she also made a statement almost as stupid as megans when she said "For the Americans and for the white people, I'm not white enough. Then for the Latinos, I'm not Latin enough.", babe, latin is a LANGUAGE, so what does "not latin enough" mean??? or how ppl refer to her as "hispanic" yet being hispanic is DISTINCT from being latina?? (remember the pum pum tiktok that the girls made? where they showed dani on the hispanic pum pum part??) i also dont like how the company made her get all that work done to make her look like a stereotypical latina girl, not to mention hw she says comes from literally every country in the world🙄 (its a joke dw)

for me, i blame the girls the most cuz they really just go and do and say random things abt their culture without even having BASIC knowledge on it, i come from two different countries myself and was raised in uganda almost my whole life so i didnt have a lot of knowledge on my cuban roots until recently but, before that i would NEVER stand on my two feet and do stupid shit which would disrespect my culture such as using it for aesthetics, which these girls are CLEARLY doing

u also gotta hand it to the company for being dumb fucks, like okay u made a global girl group, couldnt u at least TRY to teach the girls more abt where they come from and dress them in ways that show respect to their culture for their fans back home?? but no, H×G dont gaf, they just wanna westernize the shit out of these girls and cater to their epstein donors and basement dweller gooners🤧🤧

And I’m looking at this and I’m like the only one that actually fits it Megan as Marinette and I’d say they’re even somewhat similar in both personality and ethnicity cuz they’re both wasian but especially they’re both half Chinese. The others nah not really.
