What would have happened if Lightning won the dirt road race against Doc and earned his freedom?

One of the explicitly stated rules of the race was “no lollygagging” which is EXACTLY what Doc proceeded to do after Lightning crashed into the ravine. What would have happened if Sheriff (who I’m assuming is the judge since he made all the rules) told Doc “sorry, you broke one of the rules by staying behind to taunt Lightning rather than see the race through. He wins by technicality”?

Would Doc have kept his word and let Lightning go, or do you think that whole “you win, you go free” idea was all a sham because he didn’t think Lightning ever had a chance to win under any circumstances anyway?

If he did keep his word and let Lightning go, how do you think Lightnings career would have panned out? He certainly wouldn’t have any of the knowledge he learned from his time in Radiator Springs. His single mindedness towards winning almost certainly would have led to burnout.

King George comforting Mabel. This is such a wholesome scene.

George comforting Mabel and letting her know that She isn't alone in it is a very touching scene. George is such a good friend.

Is Charlie the worst friend ever

This guy says he and George are like brothers and then snitches on them. Also how relieved George felt when he shoved the sock in charlies mouth and threw him in the door. He had enough

Toy Story 3 tear jerker?

So I was watching Toy Story 3 today with my two year old son and I gotta say there were two specific scenes that either made me tear up or straight up start bawling even as a 26 year old man. The first scene was the toys holding holds in a furnace and the second one which really got me going was woody saying so long partner at the end of the movie. I was wondering if anyone else gets emotional during these scenes?

Which Toy Story fanfic would you read first?

Lately, I've come up with a few Toy Story fanfic ideas and I'd love to hear what fellow Toy Story fans think! Which one do you think I should write first?

  1. Jessie becomes a human girl through a miraculous event and ends up playing with Bonnie in a fun comedy.

  2. Woody and Jessie infiltrate a museum... where they encounter another Woody and Jessie. At first they seem friendly... but they eventually discover that these versions are actually plotting something sinister.

  3. Toy Story 4-5 Bo Peep travels back in time and meets the Toy Story 1-2 herself in Molly's room, leading to conflict, debate, and eventually mutual understanding.

Which of these ideas would you be most interested in reading first?

My hunch on these notes proved correct!

Running on almost no sleep, I looked at this image from the film, and thought: “I think I know what that is.”

Opened up Garageband, accounted for the B Flat, and yes, this is You’ve Got A Friend In Me on Lilypad’s screen.

Does Toy Story hit differently with chronically online fans who most likely held on to their their toys?

It feels like these types of fans take a bigger offence to Andy giving his toys away, hating on Bonnie, and making fan predictions that Andy will return to take the toys back. Pixar seems to be run by people who gave their toys away when they crew up and aren't chronically online.

Realized something

Doing a rewatch of Toy Story 4 prior to seeing 5, and I just realized in the opening flashback, Bo tries to get Woody to get in the box with her and he almost does.

“You know, toys get lost all the time…”

“…get in the wrong boxes…”

And Woody starts to get in the box.

It’s subtle and not something I caught until now.

What is Monsters University's message regarding Sulley?

We all know what the message of the film is regarding Mike, but I’m curious what do you think it’s the message regarding sulley and how does it compare with Mike?

How many animation fans tuned in to Chowder after the premiere of Ratatouille?

The film created a massive summer wave of interest in culinary animation, which naturally primed audiences for Cartoon Network's food-centric marketing campaign that fall. Both Ratatouille and Chowder used food as their core visual language, but they did so to achieve completely opposite storytelling goals: Pixar aimed for sensory realism to ground an emotional story, while Cartoon Network used food as a vehicle for psychedelic surrealism and meta-comedy.

Am I the only one who likes both versions of Bo Peep?

I think I'm one of the few people in this community who genuinely likes both the original Bo Peep and the TS4 Bo Peep.

I've seen a lot of criticism toward the current Bo Peep, but honestly... much of it feels forced to me.

The Toy Story universe isn't that different from our own. It may look warm and wholesome on the surface... but it's actually a pretty harsh world. As much as I dislike Stinky Pete as a villain, if you look at his reasoning purely as a survival strategy... he wasn't entirely wrong.

Kids grow up. They lose interest. That can't be stopped. From that perspective, ending up in a museum or becoming a lost toy actually offers much better odds of survival than staying with a child.

Being passed on to another kid is mostly a matter of luck anyway and Bo herself went through different homes without having an easy life, as shown in <Lamp Life>.

Molly told her mom that she didn't need the lamp anymore and Bo was essentially discarded because of that. She adapted and developed her own way of surviving.

So I can understand people blaming Molly for what happened. What I don't understand is blaming Bo Peep for successfully adapting to the reality she was forced into.

Good Idea or Bad Idea:Bonnie finds and starts playing with Woody again in Toy Story 6?

IDK if this would work out or not, Like Woody's back again for some reason and Bonnie finds him lying ro hanging around and remembers him being that toy from Andy with the promises and all and starts playing with him again like they were planning to hav her before.

Toy Story 6 Villain Hope

If they do end up making a Toy Story 6, I hope that it has a villain whose just as if not even more evil and diabolical than Lotso was. Just a straight up evil mastermind of a toy. Maybe a different kind of mastermind like one who legit enjoys being evil and doing bad things or one who maybe does take their chance at redemption when its given to them, but hopefully someone whose legit a straight-up big bad villain on a similar tier to Lotso. Thats all I hope for if they make another.🙏

Does the bird count as a twist hero?

I mean, it's her that ultimately kills the villain Hopper by feeding him to her chicks.
