Do you think Gunn made the mistake of not establishing the bigger heroes first?

Like don't get me wrong I do enjoy learning lesser known characters like peacemaker and the creature commandos

But I find it weird that gunn seems more interested in establishing lesser known characters then the big ones like batman wonder woman or even the flash

Like yes gunn did introduce the guardians of the galaxy who were unknowns at the time but the mcu had already established its bigger players by the end of phase one so it didn't felt to jarring
