All of these near misses are killing me.

Im playing Rebirth and Im at the point where Claire is travelling with the party, and all of these near misses in Razilda and Kyogen are the worst (if you know, you know) Someone please tell me this won't be going on much longer.

Do you like Tales of Arise overall even with any flaws?

I hear so many people say this game nosedives late or a lot of people think it sucks.

Combat feels so clunky

I’ve recently got tales of vesperia so far I’m loving what I played, made it outside of the castle but the combat feels so bad and clunky. Everything else about the game is great but the combat makes me wanna drop it. Does it get any better??? Or is the combat just like this?

You Guys Got Me Hooked!!

I asked a while back which Tales of I should start with, Legendia or Abyss. Well, since then, I got a bit addicted to the Tales of series and since I'm a big PS1/2 guy, I decided to sell some Yugioh cards to afford one of the PS1 games. But which one??

Mikleo's EN VA is the same actor as Bear in Obsession (2025)

I'm sure people have figured this out already but this kinda blew my mind lol. Seems like Michael Johnston (the VA) started out as a voice actor in the mid 2010s for some games and shows and only recently got his big break as Bear from Obsession (amazing movie btw).

What would you like to see from the next mainline Tales game?

For me personally, I'd say:

  • More party members. Not a huge amount, but maybe around 7 or 8, with 4 slots in your main team.
  • Have majority of the characters be a little older. Late 20s/early 30s. We have enough games where the main cast are primarily teenagers/early 20s and I'm getting too old to relate to teenagers.
  • A world map and an airship or some kind of travel mechanic to fly around in, like in earlier titles.
  • Bring back the titles system from Graces, or something similar where we can unlock specific skills and attributes.
  • A morally grey protagonist like Yuri or Velvet, where they're not afraid to get their hands dirty for the greater good. Make it so that their ideals clash with another party member/s and causes conflict too.

What would be yours?

Tales of Cast Discussion. Day 3: Mint Adenade.

I like Mint. She's funny and she makes every single cameo battle She's in hell just be participating.

Also, She's might have the world's most cliche Design. (I wonder what her role in battle is...🤔)

What should be my next Tales game based on what i already played?

So far i have played these ones:

Tales of Phantasia (English patch)
Tales of Eternia
Tales of Symphonia
Tales of Vesperia
Tales of Xillia

I liked all of those. I kind of want to play a title from before 2015, so before Tales of Zesteria.

What would be the best follow up to this list? Thanks in advance.

Which Sequel was 'Good'

So I know that Tales of Symphonia sequel game is pretty much a terrible follow up to the original but it makes me wonder, which sequel game is actually a good game? My only experience is Tales of Xillia 2 which is ok but I hate having to need to pay off that massive debt.

Tales of Graces and point of no return questions

Hello,

I believe I have reached point of no return since it's been pushed a lot, but just want to make sure of some things:

1- What should I prepare for the final dungeon and boss fight?

2- Can I go back to the overworld even if I enter the final dungeon?

3- Are there any missable items, skits, quests, or anything that I need to do before going in? Not planning on doing NG+

4- I want to get all the titles, and all the discovery book finished up, is that feasible?

5- Any tips on equipment and upgrades to prepare specifically?

6- Regarding soul orbs from enemies, I still have no idea the purpose of them. I already have 90% of them or so, should I finish it up before going in? What non-spoiler use do they have?

7- For requests, I did all the unique key-item ones, should I finish the rest off?

8- For the battle tower, I reached floor 15 or 20 (enough to get the President's request item at least), is it possible to reach the end and beat the boss there currently? Only planning to do so with Asbel, do I need to reach the same floor with other characters? Not sure how it works honestly.

Thanks in advance.

Would you get a PS Vita just for Tales?

So I've really been missing Tales lately. I have already played Vesperia, Abyss, Symphonia, DotNW, Legendia, Graces F, Xillia, Xillia 2, Zestiria, Berseria, and Arise.

Very happy that they're finally releasing one of the older titles. I'll be playing Eternia on day 1.

I honestly forget about Hearts R or Innocence R, because I never owned a DS or PS Vita. I looked on ebay and the price isn't bad for a Vita. Are Hearts and Innocence worth buying a Vita? Would I be able to play them without buying the actual physical games? Is it hard to setup a Vita without having the physical games?

Thanks!

(tales of destiny dc) what stats to focus on for each character?

OK i have seen 2 things being said one is people saying to give items that help with the lowest stat for that character to what you would think so like magic users being given Physical attack equipment others say use equipment that improves the best stats for each person.

This has left me not sure what to put on people I think the lowest stat thing is do to how I guess level stat scaling works in the game (No idea how it works) but i wanted to know if this is for min maxing or it does make a huge difference or not.

Thanks
