Harrison Ford and Cookie Monster eat cookies and "nom" the Indiana Jones theme
Belloq art
I have been drawing. Soon perhaps I will maybe post more drawings, I’m experimenting with my style right now. As you can see, I haven’t drawn stubble on his face, this is because I don’t know how at this moment, but I’m pretty sure that I will learn to do it eventually, I hope. I don’t like his hat.
The Indiana Jones Roleplaying Games Are Sorted
Not pictured because it's in use, is the West End Games supplement Indiana Jones Magic & Mysticism: The Dark Continent.
As for four copies of the TSR boxed set that's easy. One is my original copy bought back when it was released. The others I picked up along the way at game stores or flea markets because they were $10 or less and pretty much complete.
A mural I painted across from. Subway.
What’s your favorite Indy action set piece?
Mine has to be the Desert Chase from Raiders. John Williams’s score is firing on all cylinders during this scene and I literally get goosebumps every time I watch it.
If you ever get an opportunity to see Raiders or any of the original Indy movies in theaters, take it!
Robert Irwin taught me that some of the 'snakes' in Raiders are actually legless lizards. Whole video is awesome, but Raiders starts at 5m16s.
youtu.beDecent quality Indy whip sellers in Canada?
Narrowing this post down to Canada only since a lot of posters here are from the US. Looking to avoid paying customs fees, and instead support local.
Not looking for Kangaroo simply because of cost, my budget would be $200, maybe $300 max. Would think Nylon or cowhide is appropriate since I'd be using it for show moreso than actual use. Granted, it'd be nice to get something I could crack, but I'm not that knowledgable about what materials work best for it.
What is something you don't like about your favourite Indy movie and something you like about you least favourite Indy movie?

Color isn’t quite right but I like it. Thoughts? Any chance this is one that Schott produced?
Harrison Ford Will Appear in New Indiana Jones Attraction -- Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent -- at Walt Disney World
From the report covering the announcement at D23: "As for the story of this new Indiana Jones attraction, it was revealed that the new original story will be set in the 1950’s, before the events of 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.' On the hunt for a mysterious artifact in South America, Indiana Jones (and, by extension us the guests) will be plunged into the underworld. And wouldn’t you know it? The underworld is guarded by a massive, feathered snake."
First time I decide to use the gun in the game and…
…this is how it went💀 I just sat there flabbergasted for a sec at the fact that this man just tanked every bullet, ESPECIALLY one straight to the dome.
Is the revolver shooting tickles, or is this man just built different?
Spent enough time dumping on the last two movies! Anyone have positive thoughts or scenes they actually think stand up to the first 3?
I think this scene is actually one of the best in the entire franchise…and I even really enjoy the opening scene of KOtCS.
Big details dropped at D23 regarding next year's new Indy disney parks attractions! Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent will be a completely new stroy set in the 1950s and will be the first disney parks attraction ever to use Harrison Ford's likeness in the animatronics!!! ❤️
youtu.beStriking resemblance
As i'm playing toys with my son, from an old bag of action figures from my own childhood I noticed matching Harrison Ford Toys just need some yellow stripes
Caught Indy! at the Edinburgh Fringe.
A very solid, super fun romp that stops just short of being a masterpiece. True to the Mischief Theatre style of comedy, it hooks you right from the start with a pitch-perfect recreation of the opening scene of Raiders, leaning heavily into quintessential British silliness.
The show brilliantly takes recognizable elements - iconic set pieces, beloved characters, and memorable music—and twists them into something entirely fresh and uproarious. It is packed with physical comedy, adult humor, behind-the-scenes fandom references, and playful nods to dated Hollywood tropes, alongside great interactive touches like pulling audience members up to play henchmen.
However, it oddly skips major set pieces from the films, such as the classic truck chase and the mechanic fistfight. It relies primarily on Toht to represent the Nazis as a general enemy, completely leaving out iconic rivals like Belloq or Walter Donovan, along with any nods to their characters or memorable scenes. Furthermore, with Indy occasionally played a bit too dim-witted, the narrative feels a bit thin in the middle.
Ultimately, it is an immensely entertaining 70 minutes of Fringe comedy that delivers a solid amount of laughs for any Indiana Jones fan. While the cast brings fantastic energy to the stage, the show just doesn't quite reach legendary status.
Has anyone else caught it yet? What did you think?
River Phoenix as Indy
Last Crusade has a greatest opening for many reasons but one of the things that comes to mind is River Phoenix’s performance as Indy especially that whole sequence on the circus train with the highlight of him using the whip on the Lion.
Definitely gotta rewatch Last Crusade yet great performance by him so what’s your thoughts on his performance as Indy here?
The definitive young Indy
Sean Patrick Flanery of the Adventures of Young Indiana Jones is THE Prequel-Indy for me. I know that the series can be seen as somewhat “non-canonical”, but the slow development of the persona during the series gives the character of Indy such a beautiful depth.
Also: Great childhood memories!
