It’s that time again! Paid just under $69 dollars to fill my gas tank.
For those who said gas would come back down in a month. We’re at about 6 months?

Color isn’t quite right but I like it. Thoughts? Any chance this is one that Schott produced?
Saw on here recently someone in the U.S. got hit with an 80 dollar tariff buying a Wested jacket.
I’m deciding between a Wested jacket and a US Wings Cooper buffalo or goatskin jacket.
The cooper would be 350 to 370 while the Wested would be 344 plus the 80 tariff coming out to 424.
Do you think the Wested is the better option or should I save a few bucks and go with US wings. Would you recommend a different US wings jacket in the same price range?
Thanks for any advice.
I’m pretty happy with the comfort and quality. I did forget to take tariffs into account.
PSA for those in the U.S., I got hit with a charge for 71.94 import duty.
Size 40. Thinking about going down to a 38. Unnecessary? Thanks for any suggestions.
Mounts are 3d printed too.
I’ve seen them cheaper on Reverb too.
Thanks to u/jaggedfel2142 and u/foxheadworkshop among others. I used some failed prints and tried high gloss black on one and gloss gray on the other. Used cutting compound and polishing compound and then cretacolor graphite powder. I feel it’s an improvement over my previous pieces. Thanks to this community for the help!
Thanks to u/timmkatt6 for suggestions on the mutes and the anti rotation pieces. All in all it cost between 175 and 200 dollars.
New to 3d printing and sanding and painting. Based on some videos and reading I tried black gloss paint and graphite powder. It came out kind of dark. It looks a little lighter in pictures.
Any advice to make it look more silver than shiny-black? Am I on the wrong track with graphite powder? Thanks for any advice.
Queue the “it’ll be over any day”, “it was worse under Biden”, and the “we were about to get nuked” excuses.
Still messing around with things (hence the duct tape). Put some Pintech triggers on some cheap low volume cymbals from Amazon. Weather stripping around them. Have to hit in the same general area for crashes. Anyone ever do this and have tips/suggestions?
Found the files for free online. The lightsaber pieces fit on a Savi’s chassis. I’m pretty impressed with the designs. Does anyone have any other interesting 3d print files for anything GE related?
