What’s your favorite Indy action set piece?

Mine has to be the Desert Chase from Raiders. John Williams’s score is firing on all cylinders during this scene and I literally get goosebumps every time I watch it.

If you ever get an opportunity to see Raiders or any of the original Indy movies in theaters, take it!

Brand New to Fighting Games

So, as the title indicates, I’m brand spanking new to fighting games. I’ve played them in arcades and at friends’ houses in the past, but I never really dived into them.

I tried to learn MVC2 a couple of years ago but gave up (and didn’t get too far before doing so). Invincible VS had me interested in giving it another go, but with the recent release of Avatar Legends, I’m back into wanting to figure this out.

I just picked up SF6 and Avatar today on Steam and I’ve just spent the last couple of hours messing around in them with tutorials and such, but still feeling kind of lost. I’m sure the easy answer is just play them, but I’m wondering if there’s a place to start that people can recommend. SF6’s menus are pretty daunting.

I have an 8bitdo Pro 3 controller that I’m using but I’m not sure it’s the right fit for fighting games.

If anyone can toss out some wisdom and recommendations, it’s appreciated.

*I’ve watched a decent amount of “beginner” videos for the specific games I bought and just fighting games in general but it’s a lot to take in, remember, and apply. It seems like having the right controller or fight stick can help as well.

Need some recommendations!

Hi folks! I’m looking for some Pirate fantasy novel recommendations.

I’m excited for the remake of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, and it’s getting me in the pirate mood.

I’ve never really heard of any good pirate fantasy books, so any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!
