In honor of 4th of July. What dangerous ways did you shoot off fireworks? And did your parents have a clue?

Bottle rocket wars and the obligatory launching bottle rockets from someone's butt were pur choice. Parents weren't usually there because they were asleep or passed out from drinking. But they often gave us the idea!

When I was younger I used to think Mayor Vaughn's actions were incomprehensible...today, 40 years later I kind of get it! Anyone else?

M80s, throwing stars and machetes. These were things we played with as young kids in the 80s. What other dangerous things that you played with would todays kids have no clue about?

I am not sure if any of you have seen the "Without a Paddle"...guy keeps telling his friends he is an expert outdoorsman while they go out into the wilderness in search of treasure he is not and making it up. This clip is how I feel captures Ocean Ramsey very well!

What is the best worst movie of the 80s? My vote...Can't Stop the Music.

Sir Sreve Guttenberg saves everything!

I dont know how I have never seen Friday Night Lights and really liked Billy Bob Thorton. Who, in your opinion, played the best football coach in a movie? Billy Bob, Al Pacino (Any Given Sunday), Denzel ( Remember the Titans)the great Gene Hackman (The Replacements),...other?

My 50lb female GSP chased down and killed a full size Jackrabbit. Whats the oddest or biggest creature yours has caught?

Heard a thump at the back door and she was standing there over it with her whole body wagging with pride.

I was todays years old when I realized the guy fighting with young Indy (and then being scared off by the snake on his wrist) is the same guy who is killed by snakes in Lonesome Dove!

He must also wonder...why did it have to be snakes?

This little beauty (about 2.5ft long) of a Texas Coral Snake was just sitting next to our backdoor mat..we got a bit lucky for us and it as someone could have stepped on it or the dog would have found it. Thank God my wife noticed it first! It was dusk...sorry for poor pic

I did let him go on his way. Hope he disappears for good. Dont need my dog getting bit. But what a sight! Stunning!!

Anyone else remember the "Kick the Can" segment from the twilight Zone movie? Now that I get older I really appreciate it! I know the movie doesnt get a ton of love but I thought this story was a good one! And the choice they all make at the end...phew.

Dis anyone else actually like Belloq?

If you read the books you see he has been a pain in Indys side for years...all the way back to College years.

u/Lazthedestroyer — 29 days ago

For those that saw him play, for you....do you remember Drew Bledsoe for being a very good or great QB...or for being the guy Brady came in for?

I think he had a sub HOF career...meaning very good. Just not enough for HOF. People forget the numbers he put up and the hype as the guy who came in for took them to a bunch of superbowls.

Brutal injury btw!
