Uh oh

I know it isn’t the most beloved of Wolverine’s stories. I thought the first was okay, but not needed and never read the second. More details to be revealed later today. How do you guys feel about a third installment of the Origin series?

I swear, a lot of the "criticisms" this game is getting are akin to something CinemaSins would make up to call a movie "bad".

Quickest draw in the west, good luck to those who got these

So hyped I managed to get the PS5 Pro Console Cover as they're unavailable now, at least the controllers are still available, just getting yellow as further thoughts said silver is super boring, not Wolverine, and I've got the pearl controller which is basically a very light silver and white, going all yellow 💛 🖤

Paul Jenkins’ Origin Comic Means a Lot to Me, so I’m Excited He’s Making a Follow-up

I'm sharing some positivity about an announcement I'm truly looking forward to. Although I try to stay resilient online, the pervasive cynicism can be draining. Still, it’s all worth it when Paul Jenkins responded to my tweet about my excitement for the series!

One of my favorite story tropes is that of the unsung hero.

(SPOILER) X-Men: Days of Future Past has one of my very favorite scenes in Marvel cinema. Logan saves the past and returns to a present time that is completely different, but entirely embraced.

For years, the dystopian mutant genocide has ravaged the world. The X-Men are constantly running and fighting, always wondering who will die next. He has no idea if his time travel adventure is going to work, but its their only shot.

When he eventually awakens in the mansion, its like a dream. He can't believe it. Everyone is still alive, kids are running through the halls. He sees all his old friends and realizes that the plan worked. In his 150 year existence, he finally has something that he loves become restored to its glory. For once, Logan has peace. He has gratitude.

And he is the only one who will carry the weight of the knowledge and horrors of where (and when) he came from, and what he had to endure, just to save this timeline that no one else even realizes could've been so much worse. Even Professor X is surprised when he scans Logan's mind and realizes that this iteration of Logan is...different.

I just love that trope in story-telling that depicts a tragic protagonist who makes world-saving sacrifices that no one will ever know about. Its a weight that they must carry forever, in silence.

Honestly, in my opinion they should just make Dafne Keene's X23 the MCU Wolverine. Maybe even give her the suit like the comics

Since Secret Wars will be the last time we see the legend himself, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and they're possibly/most likely bringing Deadpool into the world to interact with everyone else, why not bring X23 with him and make her the MCU Wolverine?

Thoughts? Should Hugh pass the torch of the Wolverine mantle to Dafne Keen, or should a new actor to play Logan?

Wait… why is Fisk Tower in Wolverine if the game takes place after Spider-Man 2?

I think I found a weird continuity detail in the Insomniac universe.
In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the old Fisk Tower was turned into the Baxter Building for the Fantastic Four. People already noticed this years ago, so I’m not claiming I discovered that part.
But Wolverine is supposed to take place after Spider-Man 2, and the Wolverine trailer shows what appears to be Fisk Tower.
So how does that work?
If Wolverine really happens after Spider-Man 2:
Spider-Man 1: Fisk Tower

Spider-Man 2: Fisk Tower becomes the Baxter Building

Wolverine: Fisk Tower appears again?
Is this a different Fisk Tower, did Fisk build/acquire another tower, or am I missing something?
I searched Reddit and found plenty of discussions about Fisk Tower becoming the Baxter Building, but I couldn’t find anyone connecting that specifically to the Wolverine trailer.
Maybe there’s a perfectly normal explanation, but I thought this was interesting. 👀
