r/shipping
Does anyone here order directly from Broken Planet to Poland? My checkout shows 491 PLN total, including 91.78 PLN in taxes. Did you have to pay any additional VAT, customs duties or handling fees upon delivery? I’m especially interested in recent 2026 orders.
reddit.comMissing commercial invoice
Hi! It’s my first time using UPS to ship from Korea to the Philippines. I checked the tracking and it says my shipment is currently pending due to a missing commercial invoice.
Do I need to take any further action here?
Appreciate any advice from anyone who’s dealt with the same issue. Thanks!
Parcel to USA requires CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY COMMISSION (CPSC) any advice?
I recently shipped some dolls to the USA, and FedEx sent me an email requesting documentation from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). This is the first time I’ve been asked for something like this.
They mentioned I need to complete either a form for Registered Goods or one for Non‑Registered Goods, but I’m not sure where to find the information required to fill these out.
Has anyone dealt with this before or could share some advice? Thank you!

Opinions on crosslisting tools?
I’m still pretty new to resale so sorry if this is a dumb question.. but I’m starting to get fed up with listing to each platform one by one. Does anyone have experience with the crosslisting tools? There are so many, it’s actually so overwhelming. I’m not even sure what’s important to look out for..
Shipping options from Korea-Vancouver
I purchased an item through Paysable which comes in two separate boxes. These are the dimensions and weights:
Height 76 cm × Width 44 cm × Depth 84.2 cm, 20.28 kg
Height 68 cm × Width 38 cm × Depth 70.2 cm, 22.89 kg
The shipping cost for box A is around is $470 CAD and box b is somehow $930 CAD.
I’m in no rush so I was wondering if I can somehow access an ocean freight carrier to ship these for cheap. Paysable only offered me air freights like ups and dhl.

International Moving Advice
I’m moving from the USA to Switzerland in about a week and seeking advice on taking a single piece of furniture with me.
Description of the furniture:
It’s a small, asymmetrical table with an attached lamp that can only be disassembled into 3 parts: A) Lamp Shade, B) Curved Metal Rod, C) The Table. The table’s bounding box measures approximately 22” x 27” x 29”. The total weight of all 3 parts is about 19.5 lbs, the bulk of the weight presumed being the table. The metal rod is thin but tall, the bounding box would be approximately <1” x 8” x 60”. I haven’t weighed the metal rod separately but it shouldn’t be more than a few pounds.
I looked into shipping it with carriers like UPS, but it would cost thousands of dollars. So far, I was able to think of 2 other possible options:
Option 1) Pack the table (C) into a cardboard box and check it in when I fly (I will be flying with Delta). In this case I’m not sure how I would deal with the metal rod, which I would pack up separately. It can be a pretty flat but long package. It’s comparable to a fishing rod but I don’t have any experience with flying with one so I’m not sure how that works. And if they’re two separate pieces I might get charged for two check ins?
Option 2) I can try to get lucky with FexEx’s ‘last minute deal’ shipping, which seems significantly cheaper than usual shipping. Haven’t used this service before though.
As far as both options go, I am concerned about the handling since I obviously wouldn’t want it to be thrown around. I plan to bubble wrap it and add things that might help cushion it (blanket? towel?). The lamp shade could go underneath the tabletop.
If anyone has suggestions on properly packing it up or shipping/checking in please let me know. General advice is also appreciated.
What is going on? it’s past delivery window but my last status says picked up by canada post and progression bar says it’s in transit

I already have a solid freight forwarder, how the hell do I buy from 1688 and ship to the freight forwarder?
I already have a solid freight forwarder but I cant figure out how to create an account on 1688 and BUY and send to my shenzen freight forwarder? Can I hire VA's on upwork that already have 1688 access? Is that even possible or practical in the long run? I am so frustrated because I want to buy off 1688 and send domestically, and I can't even do that because the platform doesn't allow ANY Americans to make an account. I even paid for a temp HK phone number and the code didn't go through, multiple times. Can someone with any experience in this department please advise? I would be forever greatful.
ECMS shipping

Stamps.com UPS Nightmare
I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this. For the first time, I chose UPS instead of USPS with a package on my stamps.com account. I weighed it like I always do. The package never arrives. I track it, and it’s stuck with USPS, which is claiming there’s not enough payment for postage. In these cases, they will neither return the package, nor will they deliver it. I chat with stamps.com customer service, who says this is a known issue they are working on with usps, but for now, they can only recommend I send to a missing packages email address run by USPS. Otherwise, they are unable(willing) to help me, since they are only a fulfillment service.
I did not opt to ship this package USPS, and yet it is stuck in their system. Now I’m triangulating three companies, all of whom have told me it’s not their responsibility. It’s entirely possible I weighed the package incorrectly and may have been off a pound or two, easy mistake to make. However, stamps.com using this double company service to ship what they are claiming to be a UPS package and actually using USPS is clearly causing issues, which they are unwilling to help me on. The package has $225 value, and I didn’t insure it beyond what I figured was UPS standard insurance. That seems to be unable to use here, as it’s not in their possession.
Anybody experience something like this? Any advice is appreciated!
EDIT: I got a reply from the USPS email address saying it’s the incorrect department to write to, and to go to the US Mail FAQ for further help. I’m amazed I even got a reply.
The ship‑from address on my Pirate Ship label does not match my actual drop‑off location
Hey everyone,
I purchased a shipping label through Pirate Ship.
The ship‑from / return address printed on the label is different from the physical location where I dropped off my package this Saturday.
I dropped the parcel off at the location on Saturday, but the return address shown on the label is another address. I’m worried that if something goes wrong with the shipment, the package will get sent back to the wrong address and end up lost.
Actually, earlier this year I bought discounted shipping labels from a person. I later found out those labels were fraudulent and counterfeit. The tracking number for those labels showed an address I had never even heard of inside the UPS app 😭. The items I shipped ended up getting destroyed. That’s why I’m really worried about whether Pirate Ship is reliable.
And I’m 100% certain I have never seen that address shown on UPS.
Has anyone run into this issue before? What should I do in this situation?
Returned to Bonded warehouse?
Hello, hope everyone is doing well, just had a question on what’s a bonded warehouse and where is my package even at? Is it in China, South Korea or the destination country (U.S). Also when putting in the tracking number into 17track.net it doesn’t seem to provide any information on the parcel, having a bit of difficulty tracking it. Thank you and hope you have an amazing rest of your day
Trump Threatens 100% Tariffs on Countries That Tax American Tech Companies. Will It Actually Work This Time?
Just as US-EU trade tensions seemed to be cooling, a new flashpoint has arrived.
Trump has threatened a 100% tariff on any country imposing a digital services tax on American companies, and made clear it would supersede any existing trade agreements. This comes less than two weeks after the EU approved a deal designed to cut tariffs on US goods.
The tactic has worked before. Canada repealed its 3% digital services tax after a similar ultimatum to keep trade negotiations alive.
But the EU is a different beast. France already has a DST in place and has previously said it won't bow to US pressure. Germany and Belgium are planning their own versions. The core disagreement, whether large American tech companies pay enough tax on European revenue, has been running for years with no resolution in sight.
For ecommerce sellers operating across borders, this isn't abstract. A 100% tariff on goods from major EU trading partners means higher sourcing costs, more expensive imports, and consumers on both sides paying more for everything.
A few things worth discussing:
Do you think EU countries will back down the way Canada did, or is this a different situation entirely? If these tariffs do go into effect, which product categories do you think get hit hardest?
