I'm kinda stretching for some of these, but none of them do anything too bad.
Still, if I missed anything, please let me know.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is finally here… and Nintendo went BIG. After the first Mario movie made over $1.36 BILLION worldwide, the sequel had massive expectations to live up to — especially with it taking inspiration from one of the most beloved Mario games ever made. And while the movie is an absolute blast filled with chaos, comedy, and some incredible moments, there’s one major problem… for a movie called Mario Galaxy, the “Galaxy” part barely feels explored at all. In this review, I break down everything the movie gets right, where it stumbles, and why I still had a genuinely great time with it despite its flaws.
Say whatever you want about the new galaxy movie, I have my opinions aswell, but one thing I couldn't stop thinking about was the amazing physics of Peachs' hair. I hope I capture the feeling I had towards it in this artwork!
Name: Hex
Age: Unknown
Birthday: Unknown
Family: King Boo (Adopted?)
Likes: ghostly things, flowers, Rosalina
Dislikes: Being stared at
Personality: Hex is a bit standoffish, not being very social, but seems to exhibit a shy side, similar to most Boos. Other that, he can be rather serious, and comes off as a polite man.
Backstory: He would first appear before Luigi during the events of Luigi's Mansion 3, where he initially sees Luigi as "too timid to deal with." He serves as a bit of a guide, almost like a hotel manager, and for a while, dismisses Luigi, not seeing him as a threat to his fathers plans. Eventually, Hex starts to see Luigi as more than a timid guy, and after being defeated by him, notes that he is probably braver than anyone he has met before.
I may add more info later, but will answer questions if anyone has any, but I can't wait to see what you guys think :)
Also I didn't know what to tag this so apologies
Currently making a super Mario bros 1 romhack where you play as a goomba but I’m confused on what the power-ups would act like
I know this was an unused mechanic but I was watching a video about mystery glitches and some one got to happen. They didn't know how it happened. I was wondering if we could figure it out. Any ideas?
I think we all heard it at this point, “The movies are just Nostalgia bait” but like…
What can you do for a Mario movie story wise? Sure, the Mario & Luigi games have a lot (Brothership has one of my favorite plots in rpgs period), but… What story could you write for a Mario movie that didn’t stray too far off the general formula? I think the movies did a pretty good job of working with what they got.
So… You guys tell me, what would you guys do if you could write the movie and keep it fun and faithful?
Just clarifying so that we don’t end up with the atrocity of the Original, live action Movie, and the just… Weirdness of the Ova (not bad per say but… Blue Luigi.)
I got Super Mario 3D All-Stars for Nintendo Switch today! Excited to finally play Super Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy on the Switch.
Fold and miss information are both problaby my favorite characters so far of the show, cause they both remind of Team rocket and also kinda Walluigi (with Fold specifically).
So that does make me think about if Walluigi or Wario and Captain syrup were a comedic duo.
Yoshi has been carrying Mario on his back for over 30 years, so I figured it was time to give him his own controller. Designed from scratch and printed in classic dino-green. What do you think?
