So VisionQuest is Bringing Back the Original Human Torch Jim Hammond
So Remember way back in Captain America The First Avenger we had a Cameo of Jim Hammond the original human torch in the movie who was displayed at the Stark Expo during 1943 although he was referred to as The Synthetic Man in the movie (Which was mostly likey due to that they just couldn't call him Human Torch at the time Due to that Fox owned the Well Known Human Torch from F4 and even if Fox didn't own the original they were probably unable to call him that in the movie)
So Years later after that Easter egg we thought that was gonna be the last of him as it seems there was no future for the Original Human Torch. But it now turns out very recently that they are secretly bringing him back in Visionquest as it was first spotted at D23 as artwork for the show as they are finally paying off that Easter egg.
Now Both Vision and Human Torch are Synthezoids in both the comics and MCU and Vision in the comics dose shares a big connection with him as in the comics as different stories came out explaining this.
Originally made to believe his deactivated body had been used by Ultron 5 to create the Vision, it was instead later revealed the Vision was made up of The Human Torch's spare parts. Later on, Scott Lang discovered Vision and Human Torch were one and the same, and yet existed separately thanks to the work of Immortus, the custodian of Limbo. Immortus used the Forever Crystal to diverge Human Torch’s timeline while keeping the two timelines concurrent. This means the Vision is made out of the Torch, even while their bodies exist separately. But In the MCU vision was only created by the Regeneration Cradle.
Now it's still unclear what role Jim Hammond will play in VisionQuest or how they are gonna introduce him. Like i just freaking hope they don't do him dirty and just killed him off in this because that would feel such a freaking waste for various reasons Although if he dose hopefully has a Future it would be cool seeing him in secret wars as having two human torches teaming up would be amazing to see.
like we know Jocasta is in it although it begs the question how the heck she came to exist since the only time we saw her was that Easter egg in age of ultron as an AI chip. Although i hope this Character dose not become straight up evil and remains a villain because that goes against what Jocasta was in the comics and it would be very out of character since she is a hero and an Avenger After all.
So yeah that's all i gotta say about it i am not sure if VisionQuest will be good but i hope it will be decent and better then well..... the past MCU shows we got. So i hope VisionQuest dose surprise fans and not be yet another disappointment.
