Does anyone else miss this sandwich?

The italian mozzarella chicken sandwich from 2022 😭 ouuuggh i dream about her. I was so sad when i found out it was only for a limited time and held onto hope it would be back the next year but alas 😔. Is there any chance of my wife returning? This sandwich was my first love.

How do I know if I won’t the bracelet or not?

I have notifications on for everything. Last week I at lost got an email and app notification saying “better luck next time”. I didn’t receive any notification this time and neither did my partner. Not through the app, SMS or email.

42 bucks.

42 bucks.

2 nugget meals.

Dave's double meal...which was dry AF.

Hamburger kid meal, which my son said tasted like dirt.

It's my fault for not wanting to cook dinner.

42 bucks....that is all

Big Bacon looking good to me. Lettuce and all. Clean.

Very happy with all my Central MA Wendy’s, haven’t been disappointed in a while. Fries were hot and crispy as well, as they’ve been every time for me for a while now (last 7-10 visits). Watermelon Sprite…I’m about it, tastes like watermelon and it tastes like sprite lol.

Got 2 Dave’s singles for $3.99 each and a free 6 piece nuggets on the app. Pretty tasty.

Oakland CA. Surprised me after at least 40 years same location. My partner would have to come here for the swirl after midnight when pregnant.

My Wendy's Hot Take is that the "Hot N' Juicy" rebuild in 2011 was a huge step backwards and their burgers have tasted weird ever since.

I hope some of you had the privilege of experiencing pre-2011 Wendy's burgers, before they "changed everything but the ketchup." That is all.

What happened to Wendy’s in the last years?

I’m from Europe but moved to the US a year ago. Prior to that I visited the US quite often for vacations, did a lot of roadtrips through a total of 30 states so far. Wendy’s was always my go to roadtrip fast food location and imo absolutely superior to McDonalds, Arby’s, Jack in the box, Hardee’s etc. It was always the one that had the value/quality ratio perfectly figured out. I mostly had a baconator menu with ranch on the side.

Since I moved here I went to Wendy’s a couple times and it was consistently underwhelming. Not the same location, not even all of them in the same state.

My biggest disappointment are the fries. Wtf happened to the fries? They were hands down the best fast food fries I ate once upon a time. Now it’s a disgusting floppy mess with the taste of rancid oil.

Why do I suddenly have to pay 60cts for a side of ranch? Seriously?

What’s happened to their beef? It literally tastes like they went from fresh to frozen.

The last time I went was the first time in my life I walked back in and returned my whole meal, asking for a refund. Rancid, cold fries, nuggets that were still frozen inside and a soggy baconator with pink meat in the middle.

I’m done. And sad. Not gonna go back. I used to love Wendy’s. Am I the only one with this experience?

I APPRECIATE

every single person who has ever worked at Wendy's. You are amazing.

I have said this before, and I will say it again, and again, and again.

It's true.

Is this just a Wendy's hate sub?

All the posts on my feed that come from here are just people shitting on Wendy's. Has it gotten that bad? Here in Canada, Wendy's is still pretty good. They have the best value menu by far out of all the fast food places. I know in the US, they closed down hundreds of restaurants across the country? Is it a US thing where the decline in quality is more noticeable?

Seriously Wendy's?

4 for $4 is now 2 for $5 and every sandwich that use to be $1 is packaged into a sad overpriced combo meal. Now all their advertised deals are scams, no deals at all. I saw a banner of some sort of bacon meal the other day for $9 so I decided to drive thru, it was a fucking bacon double stack, bacon fries, and drink for $9. Sure looked like a full size sandwich on the banner but that's the deceptive kind of garbage they pull these days. I drove away with no order thinking "never again" as in don't bother wasting time even looking for a deal anymore, Wendy' is dead, RIP.

It was real and it was spectacular

Where else were you going to get tacos, spaghetti and pudding non-stop for $3? That’s right. 3 bucks. Plus tax.

My 25 year love affair with the spicy chicken is officially over

A number 6 has been my order since I was a child.

My family is generally healthy due to finances (homemade being cheaper than takeout) but when we did go out, we went to Wendy's. I have so many memories for celebrating school year end or birthdays at Wendy's, which might sound crazy but it was an inexpensive, delicious, low pressure place to take a group of kids.

When I got a job, once in a while I'd call home, collect orders from my family and deliver it. I always got a number 6.

These days, I watch this sub and think everyone's so dramatic and Wendy's has always been good when I get it. I was even ok with the shredded lettuce (even though it sucks). Until last night. The new patty is horrible. The old one was recognizably chicken. This one was mostly weird breading and truly could have been any kind of meat. I'm so bummed. I even thought "damn the price has gone up" but really I'd have paid more to keep a decent quality sandwich with actual chicken and lettuce.

RIP the sandwich of my childhood.

I hate to be so dramatic but I hope Wendy's corporate looks at this sub and takes this feedback. Dominoes made a major turnaround in the early 2000's. I'm rooting for Wendy's for nostalgic reasons but this regular is boarding for departure.

The last time I'll ever buy a frosty...

This was $3.... It literally is smaller than my very small hand. I double-checked that she didn't give me the junior Frosty that this was the size small. WTF?!

Bought my Frosty keytag 6 weeks ago, realized my local Wendy’s closed 4 weeks ago.

There’s still one on the other side of town, but eh.

Chillis chicken sandwich OMG vs Wendy's

OMG chili's is crushing it with this.

That chicken sandwich is a tank. And could feed two.

Wendy's is put to shame with how they took away our old crispy chicken
