Wendy’s get your act together fam, the people have spoken

Wendy’s used to be good, in fact I would go as far as to say it was my # 1 fast food restaurant in my opinion, it’s sad to see what it’s turn into today, Wendy’s get your act together fam!!!!

Used my rewards for a free jbc and……

The thinnest patty I have ever seen like… I am pretty sure a smash burger patty is thicker than this. But hey, it was “free” 😭😅

(And before anyone ask, no I did not check immediately I ordered this on my lunch break so I was kind of in a rush to get back to work to eat.)

Quitting as AGM

So our GM is on vacation and last night majority of our crew dident show up so I was running most of the store myself so as I closed the dining room I just left. I couldn’t deal with it any longer. But ask me anything last night I walked out during the dinner rush as an AGM haha.

Tried the new spicy chicken… it sucks.

I had a BOGO for $1 deal and finally went ahead to try the new spicy chicken. The old one was my absolute favorite item at Wendy’s and I would always get it on the old 2 for $7 or whenever I had an offer on the app.

Gotta say, who the hell thought this new sandwich was a good idea? It’s not as if they changed the sandwich to be like a hand-breaded Popeyes kind, which are amazing. Instead, it doesn’t have like any texture or crunch to its outer layer and the chicken is lacking juiciness. It’s an inarguably worse sandwich.

As reviewbrah on YouTube once said, “my disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.”

First time trying Wendy’s since they murdered my Spicy Chicken. Figured the nuggets would be safe. Is anything sacred? Bankrupt them.

I literally walked it back in, gave it back to them.

I was very nice, told them I don’t want a refund and can’t blame them for corporate idiots.

They tried to give me a Frosty.

Told them I’ll take this 15 dollars on the chin.

It’s the last dollar this restaurant will ever see from me.

I have small hands.

The nuggets were disgusting in additional to being hyper small. Spongy nasty texture straight out of the frier.

My all time favorite fast-food, closest one is an hour away.

Always felt like a treat to get Wendy’s.

This food is an abomination.

Spicy chicken sandwich…yes yes I know

I’m sure this has already been said 1,000,000 times in this subreddit but I have to come and make it 1,000,001.

I don’t eat Wendy’s often, apparently not in many years, but I absolutely loved the #6.

What the hell have they done to your spicy chicken sandwich?!?!?

I didn’t even want to finish it. How can a major chain cheapen out and change the recipe/ingredients for one of their best sellers!

I had to go back years in this subreddit to find images of what the OG spicy chicken sandwich looked like. Compared to what I had today, Wendy’s should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

Safe to say never again.

Tired of dusty ass dry hamburgers

You know Wendy's really out does itself with the double stack. Nothing like dry meat patties on bun with a dime size amount of ketchup, you have to take a drink so you dont choke on its dusty ass... good thing it was free from the rewards never again wemdys never again. Anyone have any water im chocking 🤣

Great experience

Everyone keeps saying Wendy's is going downhill but I've had one of the better fast food experiences. Cashier lady is the sweetest , completely unexpected cuz usually I get treated like crap when I eat in fast food places or go thru drive thru. The manager dude is on top of his ISH. Working as hard as the employees, and telling them good job , keeping them motivated.

I've worked fast food and the managers aren't usually nice so that was a surprise

I decided to get me some Wendy's Because I keep seeing and reading that they're prob going to go out of business in the next few years so I wanted to get some while I have the chance

Wasn't disappointed

BRING THIS BACK

I always loved getting the big bacon cheddar, and I'm sad I can't eat it anymore. Please bring this back Wendy's because i will come by much more often if you bring back this glorious sandwich.

I asked for extra cheese and they delivered!

Usually when I add extra cheese I swear I end up with less than usual most of the time. But wow, my local Wendy’s made up for it today on my baked potato!

Where’s the Chicken??

What have you done to the spicy chicken sandwich??? Dry, bland, pressed meat. Tough. Zero flavor. I question whether this was even chicken. I get that everyone is cutting corners but this is disgusting For $7, you can do better. Whatever marketing genius thought this up needs to be fired.

what do you, as a consumer, really want from a fast-food restaurant?

Hey guys! I hope everyone is doing well. To get to it: what do you, as a consumer, really want from a fast-food restaurant? More diverse menu? Better service? More digital finesse, as in mobile apps and social media interactions? Let me know. (ps. feel free to mention other things than the ones i've listed)
