Who is on your Looney Tunes Mount Rushmore?

What I mean is, who do you think are the Top 4 most important or influential Looney Tunes characters? Bugs and Daffy are 100% on here, but after that there's a lot of options. I'd say Porky fits on here too, he's been around too long to leave out, but the 4th option is tricky. I'd say Sylvester purely by how much he's been an antagonist, and he's been in a lot of TV series like Sylvester and Tweety mysteries. But what would you put on your LT Mount Rushmore?

What did Walt Disney think about Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes characters which were his biggest rivals?

I've never anyone mention if Walt Disney was a fan of Warner Brothers and their Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies cartoons but surely he should have been a fan, Bugs Bunny was way more controversial and out there than even Donald Duck was, the only interaction between Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny was in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

But I'm a fan of both, too bad he never talked about Looney Tunes because a lot cartoonists started off by working for Disney and transitioned to Warner Brothers, they definitely had connections.

Here's to 85 years of "The Heckling Hare"!

"The Heckling Hare" directed by Fred "Tex" Avery premiered on July 5, 1941. The last part of this classic Merrie Melodies short was a riot! This has to be one of the longest falls the characters ever experienced in cartoon history. Luckily, they were able to pull the brakes midair before landing completely unscathed.

The original ending for "The Heckling Hare" was never made, because it was considered too dark for viewers.

Happy 85th Anniversary, "The Heckling Hare"!

Who was the best mother figure in Looney Tunes?

To me, Patricia Bunny Lola Bunny's mother from The Looney Tunes Show was the best mom character in all Looney Tunes and the most underrated character. Feels like she always had this laid-back cool personality that she was more knowledgeable, level-headed and smarter than her husband. Would of been cool if it was revealed in a episode that Patricia was a once a basketball legend and Lola got her basketball talents from Patricia or something.

I know that a small clip of this was posted earlier today, but this short is just so beautifully animated. I love all of the rotoscoped scenes.

Happy Independence Day!! And Happy 250th Birthday, America!! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐ŸŽ† ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐ŸŽ‡ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Even though "Old Glory" directed by Chuck Jones premiered on July 1, 1939, this classic Merrie Melodies cartoon has some very patriotic vibes. I even liked the ending of this short where Porky (who was very young back then) did the Pledge of Allegiance.

While most otherย Looney Tunesย andย Merrie Melodiesย cartoons are classified as comedy, "Old Glory" is actually considered educational and informative.

And so I say to everyone here, I wish ya'll a Happy Independence Day!! And Happy 250th Birthday, America!!
