The goal of this was to reimagine the sprite into something more "realistic", like a messed up HD remake. I tried to preserve the proportions as close as I could to the original pixel art. Sorry.

I was quite happy with how the metallic paints I used come through in certain lighting ✨

I had the idea that I wanted to make a Mega Man X themed Commander Deck for Magic the Gathering, so I looked for a couple cards I felt might make a good fit, and made Proxies of them. The Commanders for the deck would be X and Zero, making it a Red, Blue, White, and Black deck, with a focus on Artifacts.

The X-Buster idea was purely because X-Buster and Buster Sword both have "Buster" in the name, and I am not spending 60 bucks for a single card.

So finally this HUGE, beautiful baby has arrived and it took me like 4 hours to assemble. It's massive compared to the other Mega Man Kotobukiya model kits, and it's well worth the price.

It comes with a couple of different blades for the Beam Saber and the extra pieces for the caped version.

Who's next, Kotobukiya? Perhaps Vile...?

• Glacier Wave: Send an ice wave across the ground to each side, freezing every enemy it touches.
• Absolute Zero: Unleash a ring of ice that freezes every enemy around X. Enemies already frozen shatter instead, taking heavy damage and scattering ice shards that chain to other frozen enemies. (X gains Frost Mode for some seconds, replacing his standard buster, the projectiles freeze/shatter the enemies hitted)

I got inspiration from Chronos in Hades II

So, imagine you’re in a boss fight with Time Man, but whenever you try to pause the game mid-fight, he looks at the 4th Wall, says lines like these

"I’m sorry, but you haven’t equipped that ability yet"
"You do not control time. I do."
"Enough with the pausing."
"I don’t care if you need to eat something."
"This is getting really repetitive."
"Keep pausing, and I will drop you in a spike pit."

Before kicking you off the pause menu and making you continue the fight

The quality is amazing, it's like Iris literally jumped right out of the box art‼️ She is so incredibly cute😍
Also, the parts were super tiny—like that triangle on her knee and the yellow lines on her outfit—so I was constantly worried about snapping them or losing them while building...😅
Anyway, the day for her reunion with Zero has finally come‼️ I guess replicating that scene from X4 is up next...

I don’t ever remember anything about him being destroyed, in fact I don’t remember much about him at all besides the fact that he can / will survive. After X6 i don’t think I’ve seen him up to anything? anybody know or have an idea?
