4 movie marathon on Friday?

I've just booked to see Coyote vs Acme, Insidious, Kiki's Delivery Service IMAX and then Camp Miasma in Dolby.

Anyone else doing something similar? I can't wait!

How to use to 10% off

How do I use the 10% off for family and friends? I booked their ticket along side mine but no discount was given?

I have signed up today for a film Friday, does their ticket need to be booked in person?

Insidious popcorn bucket

I was really hoping for something fun for Coyote v Acme. I could never have imagined this is what I'd find.

Is this the worst one they've done so far?

I'm the kind of chump that bought the Jurassic World dinosaur head popcorn bucket but this...

I think it also just makes the lipstick demon less scary. He's just Darth Maul before he decided he wasn't fooling anybody with the hair.

Will Camp Miasma be coming to Odeon later?

I was hoping for Camp Miasma last night but wasn't disappointed when it turned out to be Leviticus because I figured I'd just catch the former this weekend instead. Except it isn't showing at Odeon and has a limited rollout in selected cinemas. From what I can tell, it's expected to expand later but no date is given and there's no showing scheduled at Odeon in the coming weeks. (I'm not sure this release strategy makes sense for a film like this. It's not a blockbuster, but a genre film is a much easier sell than the usual arthouse fare, and there's mad hype around it amongst horror fans.)

My question is, should I go into the city and pay actual money to see it this weekend at my local independent cinema, or do I risk missing it altogether and wait for it show up at Odeon?

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves 35th Anniversary

UPDATE: The Trainspotting 30th Anniversary only has ONE showing, and at the same time as the Premiere of the new Rise of the Footsoldier film! :(

Only just came across this by chance. Odd that it'd just be given two random screenings on a Wed and Thurs, rather than at the weekend when people would be more likely to come and watch it, and it might help if they give it a mention.

Who decides to put out these re-releases, and at a time when they'll go by unnoticed? And they wonder why they're poorly attended?

This would also be the first time that the 12-cert uncut version is shown in the cinema, as I understand it. The original version was badly censored, partly for the fight - and loss of hand - at the start, and Christian Slater's catapult reaction changes to "Fuck me, they made it!" (from 'blow me')

Leviticus (Official Discussion)

Tonight’s Scream Unseen was Leviticus! What did everyone think? Any walkouts where you were? As always, feel free to discuss your various thoughts and experiences in the comments.

The film was the most popular in the prediction poll with 72% of the vote (198 votes). Followed by something not listed (presumably most of those for Teenage Sex And Death At Camp Miasma) with 16% (43 votes). The least popular choice was Resident Evil with 4% (12 votes).

Limitless with Blue Light card

does anyone have a limitless card through blue light? it’s cheaper than going through odeon direct but it does say there’s a £1 booking fee per ticket, is this correct? I know there’s no fee if you go through odeon direct so not sure how they would apply this? thanks

Horror might be the worst genre to see in cinemas at the moment

I hate to admit it as I love horror but it’s getting increasingly unbearable to watch horror movies in the cinema, went to tonight’s scream unseen, thought great I’ve been looking forward to this one,

A large group walked in during the trailers and immediately just by the way they come in I knew they weren’t going to have any ettiqute, what I did not expect to see when the time come to shush them was them all with there bare feet on the chair, they just proceeded to laugh at me as if this was normal behaviour,

Another group this time all lads walked in as the logos were rolling and started shouting “I can’t see the rows” and “what seats are we in” basically talking as if there at a football game for the first 2 - 3 minutes, then while the movies on there playing a game of “is it him or is it the possession”,

In the front row I could see people talking, luckily I couldn’t hear them but they got out there phone however were quickly shut down by someone else,

It gets to a point where you go get cinema staff but as I’ve experienced a few times there reluctant to do anything, I understand why Cinema Staff are reluctant to do anything too because people are becoming increasingly more and more hostile when confronted about there awful behaviour and they probably don’t want to risk the confrontation,

However it unfortunately becomes a loose loose for someone like myself who’s actually trying to enjoy the movie because I feel like I’m unable to fully get invested into the film and concentrate, so what become a film I was really looking forward to just felt average to me because I constantly felt like I missed something,

I understand it’s not just a horror thing, and I’ve been to some great scream unseen such as obsession where everyone was respectful, but seriously I’ve been to see Toy Story 5 and Spider-Man and there’s been young children better behaved then fully grown adults in the screens

Advice for seating please!

Could I get advice for seating at Odeon Leicester Sq? I’ve never been in the main screen before and it looks massive!
Also if I can be off topic of Odeon for a moment, does anyone have any advice for the Prince Charles Screen downstairs?

Usually I go to Odeon West End and like to sit in row D dead centre in the Dolby screen or row D/E in the laser screen.

Hoping you guys can give some advice, thank you!

Does anyone know if it’s possible to refund an unused booking accidentally made for yesterday?

I accidentally booked tickets to see the Odyssey for yesterday (Sunday 16th August), intending them to be for tomorrow (Tuesday 18th August).

Given that the tickets are unused, does anyone know if it’s possible to refund/transfer them to another date? I’m going round in circles with the AI chat trying to get through to a human, and I’m banging my head against a wall.

Considering cancelling my membership over just the worst user experience. Couldn’t cancel any bookings on the app and now I have “three strikes”.

Just want to see if anyone else has this experience. I know the app has been a bit dodgy for some, but I was unable to cancel some pre-booked tickets I had due to personal circumstances wasn’t able to so. Mind you, this was at least a week prior to the bookings.

Between the email address, phone number and AI chatbot, I finally got a response via Instagram and told everything to them include screenshots of all the errors. Just to be told they will sort it effectively.

Went to rebook something for a re-release in a small cinema near me and wasn’t able to get it on my membership because of these three hypothetical strikes.

Had to pay money, on top of my membership fee.
