I like Toy Story 3 PS2 more than the PS3 version

First of all, yes, nostalgia does play in a role here, I did grew up with it. But also, I just think it's neat how much closer it is to the movie in terms of story and levels. It just kinda feels like the PS3 version is a bit more loose, like the levels are just semi open world hubs with side quests to fulfill for you to progress the story instead being all story. This is just my opinion though

We finally got Bullseye's origin in a deleted scene

In a deleted scene in toy story 5 digital released we found out that he orignally had a owner and al bought him for 10 dollars

Is This a Valid Criticism of Toy Story 3?

A criticism I heard on Toy Story 3 recently was that Woody went against to lesson he learned in Toy Story 2 about coming to terms with the future that Andy wouldn't need Woody anymore.

  • The argument claims that in Toy Story 2 Woody came to terms that Andy will no longer need him when he grows up. Woody knows his time with Andy is temporary and is okay with that, which is why he says, "it'll be fun while it lasts." Another point the criticism brought up is that Woody wouldn't have to face that time by himself since it when it all ends, he would have Buzz with him for infinity and beyond.
  • In the beginning of Toy Story 3 Woody does the opposite. Woody insists that the toys' purpose should remain with Andy, even when he has no longer been playing with his toys in years. Being in denial of the reality that he came to terms with in TS2, and wanting the toy gang to remain in the attic for possibly years since he believes that there will be a time when Andy will need them again. When the toys accept that Andy no longer wants them anymore due to Andy calling them junk and believing he was trying to throw them away, Woody claims they're all selfish and leaves them, even Buzz. Woody choosing to leave Sunnyside and go back to Andy since he believes Andy still needs him in college.

This is a criticism I've recently discovered and I'm curious to know your thoughts on it. On whether it's a valid criticism towards Toy Story 3, or is there context on Toy Story 3 and/or 2 that makes this not a problem?

Can we just appreciate Hannah phillips for a moment

She's the 2nd most loyal to her toys (Behind Andy), as she's 9 years old in Toy Story 1 and she still plays with them, even having tea parties (Yes blaze is the same age and a half and she still plays with toys, but she's transitioning into the collecting stage rather than actively playing), and thats also not to consider the fact Sid (And/or scud) frequently mutilates her toys yet she still tries to play with them as she still cares for them even if they're decapitated or broken.

Recently in my home town we had a vintage car show and saw an original thinkway woody sitting on one of the seats, which made me want to get one of my own. I scrolled on eBay for like 40 minutes and this post eventually came up

I paid €110 he doesn't have the jetpack piece and half the helmet but i really wanted one of these. The only thing that does work are the lights of the wings.and I also noticed the stickers aren't original

How to make a movie accurate Woody?

I just bought this "Signature" Woody because I wanted to create the classic, movie-accurate Woody that most collectors make, but I’m wondering what exactly I need to do it. I know I need the "Huggable" Woody for the head and the new Disney Store version for the hands, but regarding the buttons—there are some on AliExpress, but I don't know which design to buy, where to get them, or what the next steps are.

This is why you ALWAYS have to check eBay 🤦‍♂️

I literally check eBay every second I could to get rare Toy Story toys for extremely cheap but the literal secondI step off this says out of stock then sold. It’s not even listed as a “signature collection” which is usually how I get lucky with them?!?!

It says “doesn’t work” but you can easily put batteries in it and make an insane profit if you want

Smarty Pants in Disney Emoji Blitz art style!

Out of curiosity, and cuz he’s still one of characters that hasn’t been added, I decided to study and figure out the art style. I know this may not be a 100% accurate match, but this is about as close as I could get.

Made in Inkscape, and this idea actually became a big reason for me to get into the editor in the first place.
