Started off with a 2025 Disney Store Woody (with the posable arms). Gave him a huggable plush Woody head, which I had to fix the nose with putty. Modded his hands, buttons, glued his vest, and gave him a movie-accurate voice box. Gave him a custom magnet modded Sheriff badge (so I can switch it between him and Jessie). Final step was simply painting his belt buckle and boot spurs, with acrylic paint pens, and he is now complete!
In the process of modding this Disney Store Woody into a more movie accurate looking model. So far I have done a head swap and removed the sheriff badge and replaced it with a magnet version so I can switch them between him and Jessie.
I am planning to add a custom voice box and I also would like to mod his buttons. Just curious if anyone has done or attempted to remove the buttons off the Disney store woody and had any suggestions on the best means to so I don’t risk ruining what I’ve already started.
Has anyone attempted or successfully done a magnet head mod on a Disney Store Woody doll?
I’ve seen TodayIGrewUps video on head mods and I see he was able to do magnet mods for the 2009 signature collection Woodys.
Curious if the same can be done on a Disney Store Woody
Looking for recommendations for doll stands for Woody and Jessie specifically. Been using random household objects to hold them up. I’ve looked at a few options but I’m worried these dolls might be too thin or the stands might be too short
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated
Touched up my childhood Buzz Lightyear. Got stickers on eBay to replace his missing arm and chest and wing stickers and painted his hands knuckles and fingertips to make him more movie accurate. Poor fella has busted wings and a broken foot held by hot glue. He will be for display not for play.
So I wanted to do a head swap on this Buzz to give him a more movie accurate head. was trying to prep him for the mod by removing all the screw caps. Unfortunately I hit a snag as this last screw cap absolutely refuses to come off. I’ve been trying to pry it off for the last few hours but it refuses to come off. Been trying to use these to pry it off but again it just refuses to come off. I’m making no progress. I try to follow TodayIGrewUps video on modding this exact figure but with this screw cap stuck it seems like any modifications to this are a no go.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this thing off?
