I'd love to have all the Digimon series from back then on Blu Ray, what are the odds they're gonna go through Fusion do we think?

since we now know both the Digimon Data Squad movie the X Evolution will both be sub only

how do you think they will handle Digimon Fusion

in my mind they have three options

1 the full half a dub set at a reduced price

2 include the episodes that were dubbed but the rest of them that weren't dubbed have sub

3 no dub set at all just sub only

now there is a long shot fourth option which is Dub the rest of the episodes as best you can to match the original dub but that just seems too costly / toei would say no like they most likely did with two of the set 3 movies

I ordered an anime Blu Ray from MediaOCD, and its being sent/tracked via DoorDash. Is that normal? Its been 10 days and the tracking says there's been no progress.

This option says media mail but I guess my question is; how is it sent when selecting this option? Does this mean a bubble mailer? Are they still shipping in a box?
I’ve only ever purchased from mediaOCD once before and it was a big enough to warrant a box but if it’s only two items then does that change or is it always shipped in a box?

Kind sucks they aren't combined. The US Dub is hilarious but it would also be neat to see what it was acutally supposed to be.

Then COVID (money was tight) and Canadian Mail strike happened

Now they deep dive collection 1 (but not 2)

And any new/used copies of vol 2 are $500

I see this is the price on both amazon and mediaocd. If that's the price, then okay, but are there any legitimate vendors that happen to have this cheaper? If so I am interested. Thanks all!

I noticed the upcoming Big O release from Discotek is 30 minutes shorter than the 2017 Sentai release.

Anyone know on what's going to be missing?

I have the old Bandai DVDs (the ones that were double-sided, with the TV dubbed version on one side and Japanese original on the other). I was going to try out Discotek's release by watching on Crunchyroll but then was shocked Crunchyroll appears to still use the Bandai version!

That said, I'm also not sure what I'm expecting, as I've never heard of any major translation issues for either release. This is more just personal curiosity than anything.

EDIT: I'm asking about the SUBTITLE TRACK, not the dub!

EDIT 2: One reason I'm curious is because I've been watching the recent sequel series, Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers, and I've noticed that its translation doesn't agree with terms used on the old Bandai DVDs (again, talking about the SUBTITLE track). For example, when it finally shows up, the thing I've always known as the "Inferno Armor" is here called "The Armor of Dawn."

Does anyone know if the points acquired from purchases ever expire? Or do i, for example, have to make a purchase per year to keep my account active and thus keep my points? I know you get a point per every dollar spent but that’s all I know. The shipping and duties for Canadians can be steep so I’m sure a lot of us cant do frequent orders. So I was just wondering what the policies were like and if I was missing something.

It has to be because of license issues but isn’t the original opening song available on music platforms it’s so weird how they can’t get the license for that song
