I Finally have a day off 🙌🏾, what are you guys playing today. I'll be playing this.
My V1 switch had scratches on the screen, joy cons get detached during gameplay, low quality HDMI cable, slow loading times. I truly needed the upgrade and didn’t even know it.
That's my little collection. Started from Switch Lite, fell in love and upgraded to switch 2 in march. I love that console.
Picked up a copy of Metroid Prime 4, my first Metroid game, on switch 2 for $35 today at GameStop. I have an extensive backlog so might not play it anytime soon but half off is a great price nonetheless. I pre-ordered Pokemon ZA but wish I hadn't because it's also half off and I haven't even played it yet so should have waited 🤦🏾♂️
And my Xbox ally came back from repair today too. Was an overall win for gaming today 🙌🏾🤣
Between Hogwarts legacy, Botw, totk, split fiction, super Mario Wonder, cyberpunk, Metroid 4, NBA 2k26, Madden 26, Pokemon ZA, Pokemon Arceus, Mario Kart World, Pokemon Scarlet, and Mario Odyssey I'm probably set until the switch 2 OLED releases 🤣 only 2 games I've beaten since getting the 2 is BOTW and Scarlet.
Which should i play/complete first? So overwhelmed here lol.
Was going to get ZA yesterday pre owned but waited. then this morning i ordered both for pickup and got them right away
Hi everyone! I recently got a Nintendo Switch as a gift, and it came with Tomodachi Life. I LOOOOOVE it so far, and now I really want to start buying more games.
The only thing is, Switch games can be pretty expensive, so I’m not sure what’s worth getting or what I’d actually enjoy. I’d love some recommendations!
I’m especially considering one of the Mario games, preferably something fun to play with friends. I also really want to get into Kirby, Zelda, and Pokémon, but I honestly don’t know where to start with any of them.
What games would you recommend for a newer Switch owner? Are there any must-haves, good beginner-friendly picks, or games that go on sale often?
Thanks in advance!
Hi all. I’m looking for opinions on various retailers to buy a Switch 2 from. Does anyone buy directly from Nintendo? Are there advantages to that? Of the big box retailers I only have experience with Amazon, which would have good protection/warranty options. Am I mistaken? Is Best Buy as good or better? My local Game Stop shut down a few months ago.
Any and all opinions are appreciated. Thanks!
ETA: I’m curious if folks have had any good or bad experiences with returns/warranties.
I never shared anything like that, but I do really feel the best now. In one week me and my GF bought a puppy and Switch 2 with some accessories. I even got here into gaming with Luigi's Mansion 3. I don't even care about hard times, life is good.
I'm enjoying a lot to play simple games on my handhelds like tetris 99 on switch, apotris on my retro handhelds, i loved balatro but only that one, all similar like slay the spire didn't catch me up. I like tetris, microsoft bubble, zooo game from gba, black jacket new game (playing blackjack against devil). Those simple and fast games where i can just pick and in few seconds i just start a new session, play for about 15 minutes and then leave without losing any progress or keep my mind reminding "i need to do this or that". I play and played a lot of games, triple A and indies but i feel maybe there are a lot of hidden indie gems for switch in this niche of being very simple and straight forward without much too think about
I am extremely thrilled to join this amazing community!
Looking for friends to actively game with, please DM your ids if interested 😊
Is the switch 2 pro controller worth buying?
Thanks!
Hi everyone 😊
I could really use some advice. Lately, I’ve had absolutely no energy… I’m completely burned out. This upcoming weekend is my kid-free weekend (shared custody with their dad), and honestly, my plan is to lock myself in at home, make myself a cozy little nest, and play video games on my Switch like I used to before having kids 🥲🎮
I’m looking for recommendations for cozy games that could completely hook me for an entire weekend.
I’ve already played:
- Stardew Valley
- Animal Crossing
- Wylde Flowers
- Cult of the Lamb
- Dreamlight Valley
And I also absolutely love all the Mario Bros games
I’m looking for a game that makes you forget about the outside world for a few hours.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions ❤️
