My live notification had Rockies up and winning all night even though the gamecast had the score correct.

Zac Veen is just the 5th player in Rockies history to have 2+ HR and 7+ RBI through his first 6 career games.

I guess Google wasn't satisfied with the level of disappointment a Rockies loss typically gives me, so they had to briefly get my hopes up so they have farther to fall.

Coors is amazing. I got to sit behind some season ticket holders who were ready to erupt if Diaz managed to give up the lead In the 9th, and next to some California expats rooting for the Dodgers.

I didn't know that Sugano's warmup song was Katy Perry.

Asked my usher some questions about Coors, like what the 16 flags behind the Rockpile represent and how many peeps are manning the scoreboard in right center field.

I like how the Coors game crew doesn't feel like they have to fill every moment with loud noises and can let the crowd naturally react to game situations. It's really nice to hear ambient crowd noise more than artificial pep squad music all the time.

I scored pitcher stats with the opposing teams, because in my personal scorebook, I keep track of pitcher performance by inning, and it's just faster to put pitcher stats on the opposing team hitter stats so I don't need to flip back and forth during an inning change.

Was a bit disappointed to find out that Helton's and Walker's statue were not complete. Was also a bit disappointed that I was only able to explore the stadium for about an hour before first pitch. Wish the concession stands all had disposable cups so they could give out free ice.

These are minor complaints tho. Hope this won't be the last time I see a game at Coors! Sorry about the stream of consciousness writing!

When the Angels got rid of him it might have been really premature for them. Granted his ERA was over 10- but Romano is a 2x All-Star and after just 11 games the Angels released him.

Since Romano has started for the Rockies his ERA in his first 7 starts with the Rockies was 1.35. He has 12 total saves so far in 2026- 4 with the Angels and 6 with the Rockies.

I feel like we finally have a good closing pitcher

My parents are part of the hoarder generation. Just found these.

He hit an infield slow roller that he could've easily beat to first base in his playing days, but was thrown out. He also had a brief booth appearance where he got visibly emotional saying it was like finally closing the door on his playing days.

I go to Everett Aquasox games pretty regularly and was able to get Wilder's auto tonight at the game. What do you guys think of this kid? His numbers look pretty solid.

I tried for Brito too but he said after the game (my 3 year old didn't last through extras).

Next year I'll be going for Ethan (Holliday)!
